Texas Police Killed 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, Who Killed 19 Students And 3 Adults Including Two Teachers At Robb Elementary School In Uvalde

Ramos shot his grandmother before going into the Robb Elementary School and fatally shooting 19 students and 3 adults including two teachers.

Uvalde, Texas - On Tuesday, at least 19 young students, 3 adults including two teachers and suspect were reported killed in a mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, and the alleged shooter, Salvador Rolando Ramos, 18, is dead.

Three police officers struck by gunfire with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ramos allegedly shot his 66-year-old grandmother Cecilia Martinez Gonzalez in the face who was critically injured before crashing a vehicle near the school and being confronted by Uvalde CISD police in a shoot out and then going into the Robb Elementary School to commit mass murder. 

Ramos, a U.S. Citizen born in North Dakota who attended the Uvalde High School.

Ramos was fatally shot by a U.S. Border Patrol agent during an exchange of gunfire. The deceased suspect was wearing body armor, according to police. Other news outlets reported, that Ramos was wearing an armor body vest without ballistic plates.

A .223 Cal AR-15 rifle was recovered by police at the crime scene.

17 other victims were reported injured with non-life-threatening wounds.
