Jobe Charged For Paige's Homicide On Mother's Day

Jobe allegedly fired at least three shots inside a bar striking and fatally killing the owner.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Dwayne Delshawn Jobe, 28, was charged with one felony count of first-degree reckless homicide and one count for possession of a weapon by a felon. Jobe, who remains at large is wanted for fatally shooting Herman Paige, 47, owner of Big C's Blues Lounge, 2779 N 12th Street on Sunday, May 4. A warrant was issued on Tuesday for Jobe. If convicted, Jobe is facing more than 77 years in prison.
Jobe and family members were having a birthday party at Big C's on Saturday. When the party ended. Paige was closing the bar when Jobe's mother went to use the bathroom. Jobe wanted to stay behind and wait for his mother, but Paige earged Jobe to wait outside. He refused and was forcibly removed from the bar.
While outside, a fight broke out and Jobe left and then returned with a weapon. His mother tried to calm Jobe, but he fired one shot in the air outside and then went inside and fired three shots striking Paige twice who died at the scene from his injuries.
Witnesses at the scene identified Jobe as the shooter and police were able to recover surveillance video footage of the incident.
