Walczykowski Sr. on October 10, in front of his home 2143 S. 25th Street in Milwaukee assaulted Burks in the middle of the street and held him against his will while grabbing Burks by the neck with his left hand until DeAngelo Wright, a good samaritan arrived at the scene and began to record the incident and forced Walczykowski to release Burks neck. Wright's live Facebook video went viral.

Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) was the first news source to report about the incident.

So far, Walczykowski Sr. as of Monday hasn't been charged with multiple criminal offenses for assaulting a special needs person and holding him against his will including making false allegations in a 911 call.

Trae Tha Truth also has a special needs child, according to Mayes. In a released statement, Mayes stated on Monday when contacted by HNNUSA, "Essentially Jasmine Tyler, who works with Trae and other artists, reached out on Trae's behalf to connect with the family. As he expressed, he also has a special needs child so this situation touched and moved him personally. I connected them with the family, they arranged to surprise Trevon today with these items just out of love and to show support and concern around the facts of the actual incident far as why there hasn't been any movement towards charges. Shaun King is also working with us all to support. We just want to unify our platforms and efforts to seek resolution, which is the priority."

The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) released a statement in their Facebook page that they're aware of the viral video posted by LivingLife Wright (DeAngelo Wright), but as of Monday, no criminal charges have been filed against Walczykowski Sr. by police or the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. The MPD Facebook page has been inundated with posted comments by Facebook users in Milwaukee and surrounding areas pushing and demanding for Walczykowski Sr. to be charged criminally.

Burks received 6 bicycles and other gifts from Trae Tha Truth and crew, and treated Burks and his family including Mayes to a restaurant. Wright was also invited to the restaurant and a press conference held afterwards.

Also a GoFundMe account with a goal of raising $50,000 has been created for Trevon. So far within less than 24 hours, the GoFundMe has raised more than $59,288.
