As local pro-immigrant organizations continue to deny alerts and warnings claiming that they are just rumors of USICE activities in the Milwaukee metro area, the immigration enforcement operation by USICE is gradually surging in northern Wisconsin, according to the Worst of the Worst USICE website.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) was notified by Harold García, an immigrant rights advocate from Illinois that he is noticing that USICE is gradually emerging in the State of Wisconsin. García provided several posted images from iceout dot org indicating that USICE agents were spotted in Hudson, Wisconsin on January 27, 2026.
The Worst of the Worst (WOW) USDHS (Homeland Security) website added 15 pages of individuals taken into custody in Wisconsin, which are only a few of individuals arrested and awaiting deportation. The WOW website doesn't include the rest of the individuals with less serious violations that have been detained in Wisconsin, which are not being listed.
The USICE agents on December 15, 2025 arrested several individuals in Ashland, Wisconsin at the Chequamegon Family Restaurant also known as the Ahland Family restaurant. The individuals arrested have not been identified.
In Milwaukee, on January 15, 2026, several individuals were taken out of the Milwaukee County jail by USICE and federal partners. The individual have not been identified. (Video link: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DSXZNmYi8/)
On January 14, 2026, USICE agents arrested an individual near the 800 block of W. Oklahoma Ave. in the Southside of Milwaukee. USICE hasn't released the name of the person taken into custody on immigration violation.
The Back the Badge Wisconsin, an anti-immigrant Facebook page posted that USICE is planning to invade Southeastern Wisconsin in mass under "Operation Cheese Sweep." (Article link: http://hispanicnewsnetwork.blogspot.com/2026/01/usices-operation-cheese-sweep.html)
HNNUSA reviewed the WOW posted list for Wisconsin and shows the names, photos and alleged violations of the individuals arrested by USICE. The WOW website shows the arrests for every state.

For the State of Wisconsin, it shows that more than 84 alleged undocumented individuals are currently being detained by USICE-CBP.
In Wisconsin, according to the WOW website, USICE has been operating in the following cities, towns and villages in Wisconsin.
Ashland (3), Hudson, River Falls, New Richmond, Baldwin, Woodinville, Sheboygan (3), Waukesha (4), Kenosha (6), Sturtevant (18), Racine (1), Wisconsin Rapids (1), Green Bay (1), Elkhorn (1), West Bend (1), Madison (1), Oxford (54), Milwaukee (8), Barron (1), White Water (1), Fond Du Lac (3), Wausau (2), Manitowoc (2), Baraboo (1), Superior (2), Appleton (1), Port Washington (1), Stanley (2), Eau Claire (1), Janesville (1) and Slinger (1).
For the State of Illinois, it shows that more than 252 alleged undocumented individuals are currently being detained by USICE.
