Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that Alderman Jose G. Perez, and President of the Milwaukee Common Council had filed a Milwaukee police report that Marty Brooks, the CEO and President of the Wisconsin Center District had inappropriately touched him (pinched in the buttocks) after a David Crawley for Governor fundraiser in Milwaukee. Ald. Perez claimed tlhat Brooks had pinched his buttocks on October 22, 2025 without permission and that he had been traumatized by the ordeal, according to sources.

Milwaukee police investigated the alleged sexual assault and the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office later reviewed the police report, and decided not to press criminal sexual assault charges against Brooks. Brooks has denied Perez's claim, but Perez continued to claim that Brooks had inappropriately touched him.

Both Perez and Brooks serve in the Wisconsin Center District Board.

The Crawley campaign for Governor released the following statement, "We've been made aware of an investigation of an incident that occurred in October. Every such allegation deserves to be taken seriously and merits a thorough examination."

"The Crowley Campaign held an event at the restaurant where the incident is alleged to have occurred, but the campaign event ended before the period under investigation. Neither County Executive Crowley, nor any member of his staff, was present at the time of the alleged incident. We were not made aware of the incident at the time, and have not been part of the investigation."

Justice for Ald. Perez!
