Zelich From West Allis Arrested In Connection With Two Dismembered Women Found In Several Suitcases In Walworth County

One female victim identified and a second victim remains unidentified in dismemberment Wisconsin murder case.

West Allis, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, Steven Mark Zelich, 52, a former West Allis Police Officer was taken into custody at his apartment located in the 8000 block of W. Lincoln Ave. in connection with two female bodies found dismembered inside several suitcases in Walworth County. The dismembered bodies of Laura Simonson, 37, of Farmington, Minnesota and another unidentified woman were found on June 5 at a rural road in the Town of Geneva, according to the Town of Geneva police.

Simonson was reported missing from Minnesota since December 2013. The second victim was only identified as a woman who is described as possibly Caucasian, age 15 to 35, 5'2" – 5'4", 120 – 140 lbs with long, straight dark brown or black hair. She has two piercings in each ear, and a quarter sized heart tattoo on the lower left abdomen/pelvic area, according to police.

Zelich retired from the West Allis Police Department in 2001.

A posted free Chicago listing in the Secondcityclassifieds dot com claims,  that Zelich was a Sadist and had Simonson caged and treated her as a sex slave. Police were contacted earlier, but could not locate where he had in prison her for months, the ad claimed. None of the Simonson's family members or friends have come forward to verify who posted it.

The classified ad reads, "Steven Mark Zelich is a sadist who has enslaved a petite female named Laura Jean Simonson. He keeps her naked, handcuffed, shackled, and caged. He has no intention of ever releasing this poor woman who suffers from various mental disabilities. She has been whipped and tortured by Steven Mark Zelich since November 2, 2013. Laura is the mother of 7 young children and has not been allowed by Steven to contact them in any way. The police have not been able to locate where Steven has Laura imprisoned. Steven openly talks about his treatment of women on a website called "collarspace". You can find him using the profile name "mrhandcuffs".

Zelich also posted his profile in a website "Collarspace" and went by "Mr. Handcuffs."

Steven Mark Zelich, 52, of West Allis,  Wisconsin was booked at the Walworth County jail for two felony counts of hiding a corpse, according to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.  Zelich will be arraigned for a bail/bond hearing in court on Friday at 1:15 p.m.
