Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Jan Brewer (R) of Arizona has confirmed that the Obama administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has dumped more than 1,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children in the state without notifying the governor. Brewer says, that the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs confirmed that more than 1K illegal alien children have been housed in a Nogales warehouse. The feds are using the warehouse in Nogales as a temperary ICE holding center for at least 1,500 undocumented children who crossed into the U.S. illegally last week and about 48,000 have been detained so far along the Texas-Mexican border. About 250 children ranging in ages from 11 to 17 are from Guatemala and the rest from El Salvador and Honduras.
The feds have send in 1K mattresses, temporary showers and have hired private vendors to supply food. Medical supplies has been also sent to the warehouse.
Other illegal aliens have been flown to Arizona and released at bus stations in Phoenix and Tucson, according to Governor Brewer. The feds have ordered those who were released to report to the nearest ICE office to provide information to where they are traveling too. Brewer says, the fed have "no plan" to handle the hundreds of illegal aliens being released in Arizona.
