Truck Driver Backed Up Striking Milwaukee Police Motorcycle

Milwaukee motorcycle police officer making a u-turn and a truck backing out from a building garage strikes motorcycle.

Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, a Milwaukee motorcycle police officer was struck as he was making a u-turn at the 300 block of N. Milwaukee Street just after 6:00 p.m. A truck driver was backing out of a garage from a building located on the West side of the street and the officer was heading Northbound when he made a u-turn to head South.
The man, who was driving a F150 gray truck struck the front wheel and fender of the motorcycle, but Officer Lentz was not injured. The driver was cited.
The motorcycle received minor front damage.
