Suspect Arrested In Connection With The Ilona Gonzalez Homicide In Milwaukee

A 35-year-old suspect was taken into custody by police after the body of a Milwaukee Southside 30-year-old woman was found inside a home.

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, Jose Gonzalez Ramirez, 35, was taken into custody at the 1400 block of E. Pryor Ave. shortly after the body of Ilona Gonzalez, 30, was discovered. The Milwaukee Police Department reported that officers found Gonzalez's body inside a home at the 900 block of W. Morgan Ave. on early February 1.

Gonzalez's body showed fatal injuries to the head. Gonzalez Ramirez is facing homicide charges. Bail for Gonzalez Ramirez was set at $100K cash. Charges are pending against the suspect, according to police.
