The suspect had placed surveillance cameras shortly after his home was broken in and robbed. The elderly man saw the teen on Greenfield Ave. and approached him about the previous break-in into the suspect's home.
The victim's mother told police that the suspect had blamed her son for breaking into his home, but that her son was at school when it occured and claimed he was innocent, according to police.
Police haven't released the name of the slain teen or the suspect. They continue to investigate the fatal incident that claimed the life of a teenager.

Wisconsin Gained 23,608 Jobs In 2011, The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Confirmed

The state actually gained more jobs last year, than was previously reported by the DWD.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 30, 2012

Madison - On Wednesday, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has confirmed that Wisconsin gained 23,608 jobs in 2011. An estimated 96% of the state employers or 160,000 employers quarterly tax and unemployement insurance reports to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) showed job increases.
John Dipko, DWD spokesperson said, the BLS made a slight change in the numbers that were sent to them earlier this month, finding 23,608 jobs were actually created in 2011, rather than the 23,321 jobs initially reported by the state.
Governor Scott Walker's (R) administration is taking credit for the jobs increase in 2011. Walker's re-election campaign spokesperson Ciara Matthews is now seeking for Tom Barrett, a Democratic candidate for governor to apologize for alleging that under Walker, the state had lost more than 33,000 jobs. Barrett's campaign ads on television networks throughout the state have been attacking Walker on projected job losses.

Thousands Of Early Voters Cast Their Votes In The Recall Governor Scott Walker Election In Wisconsin

Close to the June 5th election and thousands have already cast their votes in Wisconsin.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 29, 2012

Madison - More than 165,000 early voters have cast their votes in the recall Republican Governor Scott Walker election in Wisconsin. The last day to cast an early absentee ballot by mail is 4:00 p.m. on Friday or 5:00 p.m. in person at an available polling place.
Most of the votes were reported in the Madison, Milwaukee and northern counties, according to the state Government Accountabliity Board (GAB).
By last Wednesday, at least 90,000 voting-age residents had cast their absentee ballots. In Milwaukee by the second day of voting, more than 1,100 had voted early. The GAB is expecting a turnout of 60% to 65% or between 2.6M to 2.8M voters for the June 5 election.
Voters are not required to show a valid ID to vote.
For the first time, the voting absentee polling places in Madison and Milwaukee remained opened over the Memorial Day weekend. Get out the vote organizers having been taking early voters to the polls in vans or vehicles. Lines of voters could be seen throughout the weekend of the Memorial Day holiday in Milwaukee and other areas.
Republicans are accusing the organizers as Democrat partisans trying to influence early voting in support of Tom Barrett, a Democrat attempting to unseat Governor Walker. Walker defeated Barrett in 2010. But get out to vote organizers say, they are just getting people out to vote early and are not trying to influence the vote.
The GOP believes that most of the early absentee voting taking place throughout the state could be a treat to getting Governor Walker re-elected.
Last Friday, investigative information released by a reliable source indicated that Governor Walker and up to five others in the governor's circle while he was Milwaukee County executive are expected to face multiple charges resulting from the John Doe criminal investigation. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office (DA) is expected to file charges against Walker and five other suspects on allegations that they used county time to campaign to help elect Walker as governor while working and restricted other Walker employees from exposing alleged unethical acts to the DA probe.
Walker has denied any wrong doing or having any knowledge of an underground e-mail operation that was discovered adjacent to his former Milwaukee County executive office created to help him get elected as governor. Walker maintains that the Milwaukee DA has no evidence implicating him of any wrong doing in the John Doe probe, but created a legal defense fund and has hired two attorneys costing Walker more than $100,000 in wake of the John Doe probe. Hispanic News Network U.S.A. has learned that another $100,000 has been transferred into the legal defense fund from Walker's campaign.
At least 6 people have been charge in the John Doe investigation, including three Milwaukee County former aids, who worked for Walker when he was the county executive.
Some GOP members doubt that Walker would be charged at all, but if the information proves to be reliable then indeed Walker and five others are facing charges that will no doubt set the GOP back on its agenda to make Wisconsin a Red state.

Cognitive Dissidence Blogger Engages In False And Inaccurate Information On Walker's John Doe Probe

Christopher Liebenthal, aka, "Capper"

Photo: 620 WTMJ

Editorial:

A known socialist blog "Cognitive Dissidence" provided false and misleading information without getting the actual facts about an HNNUSA report.

May 27, 2012

Milwaukee (HNNUSA) - On Saturday, Christopher Liebenthal, aka, "Capper" who blogs on a known socialist and leftist blog "Cognitive Dissidence" provided false and misleading information about H. Nelson Goodson, editor of Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA). Liebenthal posted that Goodson's article "Walker And Five Others To Be Charged In John Doe Probe After The June Election" at link: http://bit.ly/KhvWsM was false. Liebenthal reasoning to write that it was false, simply because in his belief, the HNNUSA report would some how keep voters from voting in the June 5 election. HNNUSA was just breaking news and no actual studies exist that such news reporting would actually keep people from voting.
Liebenthal, a social worker at Milwaukee County and member of Local 645 Milwaukee Area Labor Council failed to provide any fact finding investigative information that Goodson's breaking news that Governor Scott Walker (R) and five others are expected to be charged after the June 5 election in the John Doe probe was inaccurate. But how ironic, Liebenthal in his posting also agreed, that he expects Governor Walker to be charged some time after the election. "I do believe that Walker and several others will be indicted, but I have no idea as of when," Liebenthal wrote.
Liebenthal was suspended for 10 days without pay in early 2011 from his Milwaukee County job for using a work computer over a course of a year for his personal business and wasting county time, Geri Lyday, interim director of the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed last year.
Liebenthal has attempted to distort certain facts about Goodson and actually seemed to have lost any credibilty that he had left as a blogger, one might assume. His readers with any common sense should also question Liebenthal where he got the idea that a news breaking report will keep voters from voting.
Liebenthal claimed that Goodson is a right wing and a close associate of Aaron Rodriguez, a conservative blogger with the Hispanic Conservative, which Goodson denied and said, "It is blatant inaccurate and false information that Liebenthal is posting on his socialist blog."
Goodson said, "I'm not a right wing as Liebenthal wants people or his readers to believe. He must be dreaming or sleep writing in his blog, one might think."
"Mr. Liebenthal never took the time to actually verify his information about my person. I don't know Mr. Rodriguez personally, but have followed his posted and published articles, as I do with all media and blog postings that are of interest and news worthy," Goodson said.
It seems, Liebenthal also failed to do a follow up when Goodson and HNNUSA broke a story back in November 2011 when Goodson first reported that the Recall Walker campaign organizers had surpassed the halfway mark to recall Walker, shortly after the recall began. In fact, the Democrats and organizers were forced to release the actual numbers several days later showing that indeed they had surpassed the halfway mark of petition signatures needed to recall Walker.
Liebenthal must have missed the Democrat announcement because Goodson indeed was the breaking HNNUSA blogger news source to report that they had surpassed the halfway mark.
One thing for sure, Liebenthal is just expressing his sole opinion on his blog and shouldn't be taken seriously due to a lack of any fact finding skills for a mere blogger. He strongly believes that a conspiracy by HNNUSA is trying to hamper the recall election, but in real life reporting, Goodson was just reporting breaking news as it was happening before anyone else or main stream media.
Mr. Liebenthal should no doubt continue to blog for entertainment purposes, but someday he might become a credible blogger. If he stops dreaming while sleep writing in his blog, we hope.

Wisconsin Governor Walker And Five Others To Be Charged In John Doe Probe After The June Election

Governor Scott Walker

The GOP is facing a big blow after the next June 5 election, if Governor Walker and five others are charged in the John Doe probe in Milwaukee County.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 26, 2012

Milwaukee - On Friday, investigative information released by a reliable source indicated that Governor Scott Walker (R) and up to five others in the governor's circle while he was Milwaukee County executive could face several felony charges resulting from the John Doe investigation. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office (DA) might file charges against Walker and five other suspects, if allegations that they used county time to campaign and help elect Walker as governor while working can be proven. Also, that other Walker employees were restricted from exposing alleged unethical acts to the DA probe.
So far, at least six have been charged in the John Doe investigation, including two Walker former staffers and another that is waiting sentencing for being convicted for two misdemeanor counts of political solicitation by a public employee. But the former Walker's staffer sentencing has been postponed to a later date to prevent an influence of the June election. Three others were also charged in connection with the John Doe probe, including one conviction for funneling at least $72,800 of illegal funds to Walker's governor campaign race in 2010.
The DA and Federal Bureau of Investigation discovered an underground e-mail network being operated by Walker staffers in an office adjacent to Walker's Milwaukee County Executive office. Walker denied that he had any knowledge of the underground e-mail operation to elect him governor.
Walker has set up a defense fund and has hired attorneys. Speculation about Walker being charged in the John Doe probe has been circulating throughout political circles in both the Republican and Democratic parties.
Some GOP members doubt that Walker would be charged at all, but if the information proves to be reliable then indeed Walker and five others are facing charges that will no doubt set the GOP back on its agenda to make Wisconsin a Red state.

ICE Detainer Policy Limits Of Illegals Approved By Milwaukee County Board

If the ICE detainer limit resolution is adopted by Milwaukee County Executive Abele and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, it would limit hold detentions by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 25, 2012

Milwaukee - On Thursday, the Milwaukee County Board on a vote of 14-4 approved an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detainer Limit Resolution 12-135 to limit the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) from honoring requests by ICE to hold non-criminal aliens or undocumented suspects for longer periods when processed by the sheriff's department. Non-criminal illegal suspects or inmates being held by MCSO would be exempt from being held more than 48 hours when they are targeted for legal status confirmation and removal by ICE, if illegally in the country, according to the resolution sponsored by Supervisors Peggy Romo West, Russell Stamper II, Nikiya Harris, David F. Bowen and County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic.
The supervisors argued that, ICE detainer requests are not mandatory under federal law and ICE doesn't refund the high costs to Milwaukee County when execssively holding illegals. Between 2010 to 2011, the MCSO held 439 suspects under ICE detainer requests, including 193 inmates who were in the country illegally.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele is expected to veto the ICE detainer limit resolution because its a federal immigration issue and a not a county issue, according to county sources. Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. says, the resolution that was passed by the County Board is politically motivated, but also agreed the immigration issue is a federal issue as well.
Under the policy, if adopted by County Executive Abele and if the MCSO honors it, only certain illegal inmates and suspects would be held on ICE detainers.
Any suspect would be detained under ICE request, if the suspect has been convicted of at least one felony or two misdemeanor offenses; convicted or charged of any domestic violence offense or any violation of a protective order; convicted or charged with intoxicated use of a vehicle; suspect is a defendant in a pending criminal case, has an outstanding criminal warrant, is identified as a gang member and/or a possible match on the U.S. terrorist watch list.
In 2010, Milwaukee County Sheriff Clarke Jr. admitted that ICE has accessibility to information gathered from people they have arrested. The booking information accessible to ICE is the suspect's name, date of birth, place of birth, Social Security number and race, which the sheriff's department compiles from everyone that has been arrested or detained in Milwaukee County.
Clarke says, the department works with other law enforcement agencies by sharing information and did not dispute allegations ICE has access to information of persons processed by the department. He did confirm that the county jail has been in an agreement for the last five years with the feds to hold illegal immigrants under the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program and the county was reinburse about $135,000 in 2009. In 2008, the county received at least $60,000 under the program, according to Sheriff Clarke.
Under the above agreement, the MCSO has to check the legal status of everyone they suspect is an illegal alien and report their results to ICE.

Fifth Milwaukee Police Officer Fired By Chief Flynn

Fifth Milwaukee police officer terminated in May for using a department computer system to check on a warrant and then didn't arrest suspect.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 24, 2012

Milwaukee - On Tuesday, Officer Eric D. Wurth was terminated by Police Chief Edward A. Flynn for using a department computer for personal use and to check on a warrant of an individual that was wanted who Wurth never took into custody. The Milwaukee Police Source (MPSource) stated, "Wurth used Milwaukee Police Department equipment to conduct record checks on persons for non-departmental business. Additionally, he had contact with a person who he had personal knowledge had an outstanding warrant, but he failed to make an arrest."
Chief Flynn demoted former Court Liaison Officer Joanne M. Sunn to the rank of Police Officer. Flynn determined that Sunn failed to follow an order by a supervisor to stop using her own vehicle while on duty and she was caught taking longer lunch periods in her vehicle. She had a history of being late to work, according to the MPSource.
Chief Fynn fired another four officers in May. One of the Officers is Danielle Scott, 22, who was on a probationary period before becoming a permanent officer. She was arrested on May 4, and charged for obstructing an officer and providing false information on a homicide investigation that involved her boyfriend.
Also fired was Milwaukee Police Sergeant Christopher Gull, 44, a 16 year veteran in the department. Sgt. Gull who was assigned to the Technical Communications Division was fired on May 1, for displaying sexually explicit photos of his naked girlfriend and making inappropriate comments to co-workers and subordinates while on duty.
The third officer is Richard Schoen, 42, a nine year veteran with the department who was also fired on May 1, after an internal investigation found that he beat and stomped on a female prisoner on September 22, 2011 in the back of his squad car while she was handcuffed.
Schoen is appealing his termination with the Fire and Police Commission.
Officer Yoron Whitfield, 44, a 21 year veteran with the department was terminated on May 1, for driving under the influence of alcohol. He tested  0.12 blood-alcohol concentration just above the legal limit on February 4. In March 2011, Whitfield was taken into custody after losing control of his vehicle and ending up in Lincoln Creek.
He tested a 0.18 of blood-alcohol concentration. He had a .40 Caliber handgun in his possession when the incident occurred. Whitfield was convicted for that drunk driving incident in July 2011.
Chief Flynn has confirmed, that at least 16 officers have been suspended for various department violations, which involved claiming hourly wages they did not earned and doing other unrelated activity while working at the Milwaukee County Jail and Criminal Justice facility. Non of the work place violations committed by the officers were criminal, according to the MPSource.

Facebook Inc. Fiasco Plunges Own Stock To -19.80 At Nasdaq Stock Market

Facebook facing financial loss for 2012 and considering moving stock to the NYSE.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 24, 2012

New York - Facebook Inc. (FB) estimated worth last week was at $104 billion. On Friday, FB price was at $38 per initial public offering share, which made $19 million in IPO stock at Nasdaq Stock Market when FB closed slightly higher by 23 cents.
By Tuesday, it lost an estimated $4 billion. FB told bank creditors of their financial trouble due to having problems with selling adequate mobile Ads. The creditors then told rich FB stock investors about FB's problem who immediately began to get rid of their FB stock by selling it.
Small public stock buyers never got the information from FB and the projected fall of stock price.
On Wednesday, FB stock closed up by $1, at $32, nearly 16% lower than the IPO price, thus stock fell -19.80 points.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Friday got rid of his shares and made $1.13 billion. By selling off 30.2 million FB shares at $37.58 each, he was able to save $174 billion.
Other reports, FB had lost over $20 billion and is considering moving the stock to the New York Stock Exchange.
A civil lawsuit was filed in a New York federal court by three investors and is requesting a joint class-action suit against FB for alleged inside trading that involved providing Morgan Stanley and other underwriters information about its projected loss of revenue for 2012. The FB information was also provided to preferred major investors and not to the majority of stock buyers and investors. The FB information was omitted from the Registration Statement and/or Prospectus, according to the federal lawsuit.
The major investors began to get rid of their stock at cheaper prices. Morgan Stanley says, it will reimburse FB investors some of the losses from the fiasco.
A federal investigation is being launched into FB's actions in the stock market.

MPD Fails To Disprove Allegations That Hundreds Of Violent Assault Crimes Were Misreported To FBI

Chief Edward A. Flynn

The MPD responds to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report alleging that hundreds of violent assault cases were misreported to lower crime statistics in police reports.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 23, 2012

Milwaukee - On Wednesday, Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Fynn got into the defensive about the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (MJS) report alleging that the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) was engaged in misreporting violent aggravated assault cases to suggest the city was experiencing lower crime rates in 2011. The MJS cited several cases that were not included in the serious violent assault cases statistic report to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), but were considered simply assaults by MPD.
The FBI reviewed those cases as a request by the MJS and the FBI considered them serious enough to have been included in the MPD report as violent crimes. But MPD did not classified them as violent and excluded some from the report or classified them as lesser crimes that included more than 500 cases and at least 800 cases dating back to 2009, according to MJS.
The MPS Source reported that reporter Ben Poston and editor Greg Borowski from the MJS had interviewed Chief Flynn and their main "premise to be proven: the Milwaukee Police Department is lying about its crime numbers." The Source confirmed that MPD is "not making excuses. We are not suggesting that errors don’t occur. We are however, asserting that there is a substantial difference between bureaucratic mistakes and purposeful misrepresentations. It is an awful big leap to suggest bad intention."
What MPD is now suggesting, that it might have been "bureaucratic mistakes" for misreporting violent crime cases. Chief Flynn said in a press conference on Wednesday, the misreporting came from possible "crime coding problems to human or computer errors" and "not intentional" as perceived in the MJS report concerning MPD reporting lower crime statistics. Flynn denied he ordered any distortion of the crime statistics.
Since Chief Flynn had taken office in 2008 as head of the MPD, the department has taken less concern with low priority calls from city residents about crime in their neighborhoods. Such calls by residents to the department are not recorded into statistics or how many residents have actually called or which of those calls did officers actually responded to and were recorded in crime statistics.
Chief Flynn confirmed, an internal investigation will be launch to figure out how violent assault cases were misreported. The FBI is also investigating by request from Flynn, to why MPD failed to include numerous violent crime cases in its statistics report to the bureau. Alderman Robert Donovan said, he will also request for the city comptroller to conduct a complete independent audit of the MPD crime statistic numbers.
State Senator Aberta Darling (R-River Hills) is also requesting an independent investigation by the Legislative Audit Bureau of MPD and wonders, if MPD failed "to follow protocol or an effort to mislead the public" about crime rates.
MJS reported, that the cases reported were only a fraction (500 cases, 20%) of the hundreds of cases left out by MPD. MJS is claiming the crime actually rosed by 1.1%, in contrary to what Chief Flynn had reported.
Will the MPD Fire and Police Commission also investigate Chief Flynn and its own department to figure out who is responsible for misreporting violent crime statistics, including dating back since Flynn took over the department to see, if violent crime statistics were misreported as well?
Union officials at the Milwaukee Police Association agreed, that an independent audit and investigation should be conducted, but they don't have any confidence that the Fire and Police Commission would do an efficient investigation of MPD.

Undocumented 18-year-old Man Charged With Four Counts Of Homicide By Intoxicated Driving In Wisconsin

Victor H. Benitez

Undocumented driver being held on a $170,000 cash bond.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 22, 2012

Madison - On Monday, Victor H. Benitez, 18, of Madison was charged with four felony counts each of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, homicide by vehicle while using a controlled substance, hit-and-run involving death and four misdemeanor counts for driving without a license causing death and one misdemeanor count for obstructing an officer. Benitez charges stem from last February's accident in Fitchburg that left four passengers dead.
Benitez tested positive for THC (marijuana) cocaine and had alcohol in his system when he was taken into custody and tested at a UW-Madison hospital, according to the criminal complaint.
Benitez, a suspected C-14 gang member is being held on a $170,000 cash bond ($10K for each count) and an immigration hold has been placed to prevent his release. Benitez is expected back in court on May 29 for a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
The criminal complaint states, Benitez walked away from the fatal accident scene as police were trying to help his passengers. He was tracked down by Nicolas Mittelstedt, a Fitchburg firefighter by using a thermal imaging camera on Benitez foot tracks.
Benitez was escorted back to the scene by Mittelstedt where he later denied being the driver of the vehicle. He told an officer, that he was sleeping in the back seat when the accident occured. Investigators say, he was the only one that had used a seatbelt and marks left by the accident on his left shoulder were consistant with the use of a seatbelt.

Ramirez confessed to participating in multiple homicides and the dumping of the dismembered bodies of 49 victims near the municipality of Cadereyta on May 13, according to Sedena Brig. Gen. Edgar Ruiz Villegas Meléndez. Ramirez was identified as the Zeta leader in charge of the town of San Juan.

ICE Deported Garcia Diaz And Diaz Sales To Coverup Abuse During 2008 Wrongful House Raid

Adolfo Garcia Diaz and Julio Diaz Sales

Two Guatemalan nationals were deported on Friday after exhausting all ICE appeals.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 21, 2012

Homestead, Florida - On Friday, both Adolfo Garcia Diaz, 21, and Julio Diaz Sales, 21, who are Guatemalan nationals and cousins were finally deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after exhausting all their revenues to seek a permanent stay. On November 19, 2008, ICE agents mistakenly raided their house in Homestead south Florida during an operation called RES-Q to crackdown on brothels or prostitution houses that allegedly held undocumented women who were beaten and forced into prostitution for as little as $25 per sexual encounter.
ICE agents were accused of using excessive force when they beat and kicked both Sales and Diaz in the face, including two other men while handcuffed in the raid. A year long internal investigation by ICE's Office of Professional and Responsibility  found no credible or "substantiated evidence" that the ICE agents involved abused their authority, but the investigation couldn't explain how the four men resulted with massive injuries and who committed the assaults.
The two other men were granted stays and will remain in the U.S., but both Sales and Diaz exhausted their three year work authorization and temperary stay to appeal their immigration cases, but were finally deported on Friday.
Several immigrant rights groups and organizations launched a Change dot org petition drive that gather more than 37,000 signatures seeking to keep both cousins in the country to no avail. They claimed that Sales and Diaz became ICE crime victims and should have been allowed to stay in the U.S. They were never charged with a felony crime, but were actually deported to coverup the crime against them by ICE agents and the lack of accountabilty that continues to exist at ICE under John Morton, ICE Secretary, according to immigration rights activists.
Several organizations, AI Justice and We Count vowed to continue to seek justice for the cousins and to expose the truth about what had actually happened during the Nov. 2008 ICE's RES-Q operation in Homestead.
Sales and Diaz have not decided whether they would appeal the decision from Guatemala or would engage in a federal lawsuit against the ICE agents who allegedly beat them.

WE Energies Utility Base Rates Frozen For 2012, But Increases Expected In the Next Two Years

WE Energies confirms that their utility base rate will be frozen for 2012 reflecting to 2010 levels.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 21, 2012

Milwaukee - On Sunday, a letter to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editor by Rick White, Vice President of Corporate Communications from WE Engergies in Milwaukee confirmed, that WE Energies base rates have been frozen at 2010 levels and for the rest of 2012. Freezing the utility rates was specifically done "to help customers during the still fragile economic recovery...to below 4% annually," White wrote.
By 2013 and 2014, customers are expected to see an increase of 3.6% each year averaging a $4 increase on their montly bill raising over $199 million (2013, $99M and 2014, $100M). The electricity rate increase was filed with the Public Service Commission (PSC) on March 2012. WE Energies requested a decrease for natural gas services by $17.1M or 2.5% effective January 2013. But, it did not request an adjustment of natural gas services for 2014, according to PSC.
White says, the projected increase in the next two years, which was filed with state regulators is contributed to "previously approved projects to strengthen reliability, meet evolving environment standards and comply with the state's renewable energy mandate. Also in our rate plan for 2013 is a recommendation to lower rates for natural gas customers."
Keeping the cost down for the rest of the year will help people having difficulty paying the utility bills. But, WE Energies executives are making millions in salaries, plus bonuses per year. The current We Energies CEO Gale Kappa earned about $11,346,447 in salary per year, including a salary raise increase of $1.03 million in 2011 compared to $10,315,819 in 2010.
Other executives also received considerable salary increases as well. In 2011, WE Energies reported earnings of $526.2M. It provides utility services to more than 1.1M customers and is the largest utility service provider in Wisconsin.

Obama Gay? Newsweek Magazine Claiming Obama Is "The First Gay President"

Has Newsweek magazine cover headline crossed the line by now claiming President Obama as gay?

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 14, 2012

U.S.A. - On May 21, Newsweek magazine will release their controversial edition portraying President Barack H. Obama as "The First Gay President." The Newsweek front cover depicts Obama looking upward and a rainbow halo saint type of ring on top of his head.
The magazine headline claim might have crossed the line by what some critics are claiming as a poor choice of words that the editors decided to choose on its front cover headline. Obama has not openly admitted of actually being gay, but has confirmed that he supports same sex marriage. He became the first president to support gays and lesbians right to choose who they want to marry and willing to spend their lives with.
The Newsweek cover is attributed to an article by Andrew Sullivan, a conservative gay writer. Sullivan writes about his perspective about Obama's decision to publicly support same sex marriages.
Last week Obama admitted, that after talking to friends, his wife and family about gay men and lesbians being able to legally get married. Obama decided that he would "support same sex marriages."
Gay men and lesbians as individuals have constitutional rights, but when they desire to get married, they are discriminated and banned from getting married in most states.
Some state have approved legal domestic partnerships and same sex marriages.

Child porno producer and pedofile gets the longest and stiffest prison sentence in Mexico's history.

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 12, 2012

Mexico City, Mexico - On Friday, the Mexican Attorney General's Office (PGR) reported that Mauro Rodrigo Hernández Torres, 24, aka, "Maclicio" from the city of Valles, San Luis Potosi, Mexico had been sentenced to 29 years in a federal mexican prison for producing, transmitting and possession of child pornography. Torres was sentenced on May 6, 2012 and was ordered to pay a fine of $15,755 ($207,900 pesos).
A joint task force investigation was conducted by Mexico's Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the Mexican Attorney General's Office, with the assistance of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
A tip from the U.S. led the PGR and the mexican federal police to issued a warrant for Torres on November 22, 2011. On December 27, 2011, federal police and U.S.ICE agents working at a U.S. Embassy in Mexico arrested Torres, searched his residence and found images of child porno in his computer. WI Governor Walker Talked About "Divide and Conquer" Strategy In His Quest To Bust Unions

Image: TMJ 4 News Broadcast

Governor Scott Walker on a 28 second video clip admitted in January 2011 to working on busting unions by deploying a "Divide and Conquer" strategy (video link: http://goo.gl/hqbgD).

By H. Nelson Goodson
May 11, 2012

Milwaukee - On Friday, TMJ News 4 reported that a 28 second video  clip depicts Governor Scott Walker (R) explaining his strategy to bust unions by deploying a "Divide and Conquer" political move, which would eventually end collective bargaining for some state employees. Walker explained his political strategy to a wealthy campaign donor who later donated $510,000 to his campaign fund.
So far, Walker has raised more than $25 million from out of state donors. His democratic challenger for the June 5 election, Tom Barrett has raised about $1 million of campaign funds.
The female donor wanted to know, if Governor Walker was planning to make the state a "completely red state and work on these unions" to make Wisconsin "a right-to-work state." Billionaire Diana Hendricks of Beloit, Wisconsin asked Walker, "what we can do to help you?" That's when the conversation between Walker and Hendricks transpired and was captured by a video crew filming  "As Goes Janesville," a documentary by Brad Lichtenstein focusing on Janesville's lost of jobs when the General Motors plant closed. They were video taping inside the Beloit ABC Supply company. The company is a roofing and siding company that Hendricks co-founded. Walker explained his plan to Hendricks about "divide and conquer" that led to the final outcome of busting unions, despite major march protests that drew thousands of protesters and union workers to Madison against ending collective bargaining.
Walker's campaign says, Walker had worked to balance the $3.6 billion deficit and didn't commit to making Wisconsin a right-to-work state, which would prevent workers from paying mandatory union dues. But the video clip shows otherwise and Walker's real intentions of getting rid of collective bargaining for state workers. Firefighters and police unions were exempt and kept their collective bargaining rights under Walker's budget for 2012-13.
The Barrett campaign is saying, that Walker finally told the truth about how he actually wanted to target unions and to eliminate collective bargaining.
Lichtenstein donated $100 to Barrett's campaign for the June election. He denied that he released the short video clip to influence the Walker recall election.
The full documentary flim will be released in the fall on PBS stations , according to Lichtenstein.

He had a .40 handgun in his possession when the incident occurred. Whitfield was convicted for that drunk driving incident in July 2011.
Chief Flynn admitted that at least 16 officers have been suspended for various department violations, which involved claiming hourly wages they did not earned and doing other unrelated activity while working at the Milwaukee County Jail and Criminal Justice facility.

Madison - On Tuesday, both Republican Governor Scott Walker and Democrat challenger Tom Barrett won the Recall Primary Election and now move forward for the General Recall Election on June 8. Also, Lieutenant Rebecca Kleefisch (R) who didn't have a Republican challenger will face off with challenger Mahion Mitchell, a Madison Firefighter. If Mitchell defeats Lt. Governor Kleefisch, he will become the first Afro-American to become Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin.
If Barrett defeats Walker in June, Walker will be the first state governor to lose a recall election. Walker became the first governor to face a recall in Wisconsin's history.
Barrett is the current Mayor of Milwaukee who was defeated by Walker in the 2010 election for governor. He hopes to unseat Governor Walker in June, but Barrett has been anti-Wisconsin Conceal Carry (WCC).
The Wisconsin Department of Justice has reported that more than 100,000 law abiding residents of the state have acquired their permits to carry concealed weapons in the state. The Republican controlled legislature approved the WCC law and Governor Walker signed it into law.
The WCC permit holders have become a voting block and if Barrett continues to be anti-WCC, he might be defeated once again by Walker, if the WCC voters decide to support Walker. Barrett would have to support the current WCC law to win most of those WCC voters and could add enough votes to pull the defeat over Walker.
A decision Barrett would have to make soon to win over those votes. At previous gun shows in the state, Governor Walker supporters have  announced that Barrett is anti-WCC and Walker is pro-WCC.
Governor Walker is being recall for eliminating most collective bargaining rights from most state employees. He also cut $800 million from public school funding and repealed in-state tuition for undocumented students attending state universities and colleges.
