Illinois Million Dollar Winner Died Of Cyanide Poisoning

Chicago, Illinois - On Friday,  Dr. Stephan Cina, the Cook County medical examiner during a press conference confirmed, that lottery millionaire Urooj Khan, 46, had been poison with cyanide, an autopsy result revealed. The medical examiner has now ruled Khan's death as a homicide. 
In July, Khan's death had been ruled that he died of natural causes. But later, his brother alerted authorities that Khan could have been poisoned and his body was exhume on January 18.
Khan died on July 20 after having a meal with family members to celebrate his winnings. He won one million in the lottery and decided to take a lump sum of $425K.
After Khan's death, his siblings and widow, Shabana Anasari began a legal battle to get the deceased assets. Khan who is originally from India owned a laundry business. His wife is trying to get a portion of the business, which if successful will get $2M in assets. 
Khan's 16-year-old daughter is now living with one of her aunts on her father's side.
