GOP Business Community Wants Democratic Governor Tony Evers To Exempt Them From Publicly Reporting Employee COVID-19 Cases

The Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce and business community partners that allegedly finance campaigns for most of the GOP legislators in control of the Wisconsin state legislature want Democratic Governor Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to exempt such businesses from reporting positive COVID-19 employee cases to the public.

Madison. WI - On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) and members of the business community who allegedly finance the campaigns for most of the GOP state legislators including the Republican Party of Wisconsin that control the state legislature today sent a letter to Democratic Governor Tony Evers attempting to keep the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (WDHS) from publicly reporting positive tests results of their employees and naming companies, businesses and etc.

They indicated that, if the public discovers COVID-19 positive cases at their businesses and publicly naming the business or company could economically effect business. It seems that the WMC is focused more on the economic impact of reported employee COVID-19 cases than actually indicating that such businesses actually practiced COVID-19 safety measures recommended by the WDHS to prevent such cases.

But, what they failed to mention in the letter was that employees today should become aware of any employees who have tested positive at the workplace, which treatment would also be available and do provide Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE) including practicing COVID-19 safety working measures at the workplace to ensure all employees do work in a safe environment and if the business has temporarily closed, that they have also cleaned the immediate infected area at their business.

It would definitely be a disservice for consumers and the public not to become aware that a certain business, company and etc. has reported positive employee COVID-19 cases to the WDHS and that they have actually cleaned the infected area before continuing to operate.

In other words, as consumers in Wisconsin, everyone should be aware, if a local business has had employees tested positive for COVID-19 and whether that business has temporarily closed to clean up the infected area, so consumers can continue to do business with such businesses during the pandemic.

Griselda Aldrete, Milwaukee Fire & Police Commission Executive Director Resigns

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, Griselda Aldrete, the Executive Director for the Milwaukee Fire & Police Commission filed and sent a letter of resignation to the Milwaukee Common Council. Aldrete was coming up for a reappointment vote on Tuesday by the Common Council, but decided not to seek reappointment to the position, but will stay on until someone gets hired to replace her.

Aldrete faced opposition to get rehired by members of Milwaukee Common Council after failing to accomplish her job in holding the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) for certain questionable acts including a video leak of an investigation of an alledged sexual assault.

Also, not being able to comply with the federal lawsuit dealing certain requirements of reform that would have complied with the settlement of the Stop and Frisk lawsuit.

She attempted to bring some accountability to the Fire & Police Commission, but fell short from holding MPD and officers accountable for alleged illegal acts under Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales.

An African-American female photographer allegedly claims that she and another White photographer were assaulted while covering a protest in Milwaukee by an off-duty Milwaukee police officer and a female, which later was discovered it was his wife, who both seemed to be intoxicated.

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, Milwaukee police responded to a possible assault (altercation) complaint incident at the 1000 block of N. Old World 3rd Street in front of the Milwaukee Brat House Bar & Grill where an off-duty White Milwaukee Police Officer identified as Matthew Willmann, 37  and a female partner (his wife identified as Marie, 36, "Maria") allegedly assaulted two photographers that were covering and documenting a downtown protest, which one is a female African-American identified as LaTasha Sangster Lux, according to her Facebook (FB) account where she posted about the incident.

Lux claims that she was physically assaulted (socked) by Willmann and his female partner also threw a drink at both photographers. Sean Kafer, the other photographer with Lux had his camera damaged as well.

In a video, off-duty Officer Willmann is seen walking up and striking Lux and then another man intervened quickly and pushed Willmann away causing him to fall backwards.

Lux posted on her FB account, "These fine Americans confronted a groups of peaceful protesters today by not only hurling obscenities and racial slurs, but the lady even threw a drink. Myself and another photographer who was documenting the protest were physically assaulted by the male resulting in camera damages. That last image is him right before he socked me. Please feel free to share. Let's make em' famous." She also posted Officer Willmann's photo including his female partner who seems to be smiling. Lux also indicated in a video posted as well that both Willmann and his female partner seemed intoxicated at the time of the assault.

Willmann and his female partner were not taken into custody at the scene. Lux says that she was told that, if she pressed charges against Willmann and his female partner, that in return, they will also press charges.

Police were able to see and recover outside surveillance video of the incident and police were able to take statements from multiple people who witnessed off-duty Milwaukee Police Officer Willmann and his wife assault both photographers, according to Lux.

The Milwaukee Police Department has yet to release a statement about Sunday's incident and why wasn't Officer Willmann and his wife taken into custody after police responding to the incident reviewed business surveillance video of the altercation at the scene.

Apparently, in another FB post by Jessica Kaminski indicated that it appears that both Lux anf Kafer were cited in the incident and Willmann and his were not. It has not been confirmed, if Lux and Kafer were actually cited by police.

Update: Milwaukee police cited Sean Kafer, a photographer for disorderly conduct for intentionally and without consent caused a disturbance in a city street. Off-duty Officer Willmann was cited by police for vandalism and was not arrested for assault and his wife who started the disturbance and verbal attack and tossed a drink at protesters was not cited by police. Neither Willmann nor his wife were arrested by police. The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the incident that was caught on video, according to Wuwm dot com.

Bob Donovan Ignites Controversy Over Crossing Out "Defund the Police" Street Message On Photo, Now A Major Protest Is Being Organized In Front Of His Home In Milwaukee's Southside

The Milwaukee Southside is expected to witness one of the largest protests yet in the City and it's happening in front of former Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan's home during the 4th of July weekend.

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, Bethany Crevensten was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and blocking traffic in front of former Milwaukee Alderman Robert "Bob" Donovan's home after he called police and complained that a White woman was walking back and forth on the sidewalk in front of his home. Crevensten in a Facebook (FB) video is seen calling out to Donovan in a loud voice about him defacing a photo that he posted on his Alderman Bob Donovan FB page.

The Ontherize414 FB page called for a protest in front at Donovan's home and posted his address at the 1600 block of S. 28th in Milwaukee.

Neighbors and Donovan will no doubt see a large gathering in front of his home this weekend.

The protest will give Latinos in the Southside an opportunity to also join in the peaceful protest to support "No Justice, No Peace" marches, getting rid of systematic racism and to seek accountability for dirty cops who engage in illegal acts and murder unarmed people of color, including to defund the police from acquiring militarized equipment and vehicles to suppress the population including peaceful protesters.

Since, Donovan has had a history of targeting taco trucks and creating an ordinance that would have banned taco trucks West of S. Historic Layton Blvd. on W. National Ave., which passed in the Milwaukee Common Council, but Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett vetoed the ordinance due to a public outcry. Soon after, Donovan decided to retire from the Milwaukee Common Council.

So it seems now, the biggest event in Milwaukee for the 4th of July will be taking place in front of Donovan's home.

Will the newly elected Alderwoman JoCasta Zamarripa who replace former Alderman Donovan in the 8th Aldermanic District and other Milwaukee Common Council members including public elected officials be attending the protest as well to make sure police don't retaliate against peaceful protesters for pushing to defund police and police accountabilty?

Word circulating in the Southside of Milwaukee, is that Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales went on vacation and will most likely miss the peaceful protest in front of Donovan's residence.

Security Guard In Milwaukee Was Video Recorded By His Partner Detaining And Telling A Mental Deficient Man To Commit A Sexual Act

Video shows security guard struggle with a mental deficient man, handcuffed his wrist and tells him to perform a sexual act on someone else.

Milwaukee, WI - A disturbing video posted by Manuel Torres (also known as Jensen Torres) on Facebook showing Wisconsin Public Security LLC security guard Aramis Jose Vega Quiñones struggling with a man who seems to be exhibiting a mentally deficiency condition who was allegedly accused of stealing from a local grocery store, the Greenfield Pantry at the 1100 block of W. Greenfield Ave. in Milwaukee. Vega Quiñones apparently detained the man by placing a handcuff in one wrist and then tells him to tell Miguel that he "will eat his behind (ass)" on video in order to release him. Vega Quiñones also told the man not to ever bother him or Miguel, according to the video.

When contacted, an employee at Greenfield Pantry confirmed that Wisconsin Public Safety is doing security at the location.

We at Greenfield Pantry are investigating the Video that you posted today regarding our security company Wisconsin Public Security LLC.   We are disturbed by the video and will adress this and what our next steps are in the coming hours or day.

Thanks
Greenfield Pantry

A Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (WDFI) record search for Wisconsin Public Security LLC resulted that it has not been registered with the WDFI.

Apparently, Vega Quiñones, the security guard at the Greenfield Pantry is actually employed by Miguel Diaz Flores who operates under the Wisconsin Public Safety Agency.

When contacted, Miguel Diaz Flores also known as Michael Diaz wouldn't confirm or deny that he was associated with the Wisconsin Public Security LLC. Diaz says, that both security guards, Torres and Vega Quiñones don't work for him. A photo released to Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) by Jose Carrasquillo III on Facebook shows Vega Quiñones as the Assistant Chief of security for Wisconsin Public Safety.

For what ever reason to post the video, it was posted in poor taste and it only shows Vega Quiñones acting very unprofessional and definitely shows a lack of respect for the public including the victim that he targeted and harassed as a security guard while in uniform and wearing a badge, which also shows a lack of respect for Miguel as well.

Update (July 3, 2020):

We at Greenfield Pantry have investigated the incident that was posted on your website yesterday and have decided to termintate our contract with our security company and as of tonight starting at 6p.m., we have a new security company handling our security needs.
Thanks,

Greenfield Pantry

Gracias,

Despensa Greenfield

Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday, Milwaukee police responded around 2:30a.m. to an overnight shooting at N. Holton and W. Center Streets that resulted in the death of DaQuan Ellis, 20, of Milwaukee. Ellis was in his vehicle when several suspects with handguns open fire and shot the victim.

A female witness confirmed that she saw two suspects run passed her after the shooting while each one was holding a handgun. She says, that the suspects told her "It wasn't us", but she believed the suspects had shot the victim.

Another person (samaritan) in the immediate area attempted to resuscitate Ellis while he was still in the vehicle. Ellis who was shot in the head was still alive and when police arrived, they attempted live saving measures. Ellis was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance where he later succumbed to his injuries. Family members identified Ellis and confirmed that he had passed away in Facebook posts.

Ellis is survived by three young children, a daughter and two sons.
