Two Men Killed In Milwaukee's Southside, One Alleged Suspect In Police Custody

The two male victims were fatally shot near a garage.

Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday, Milwaukee Police responded to a Shotspotter alert in the Southside of Milwaukee. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered to injuried men with bullet wounds to their bodies near a garage. Both male victims died at the scene.

According to police, the double fatal shooting occurred at approximately 2:36 p.m., on the 1900 block of S. 19th Street in Milwaukee. The victims, Cyrus M. Glave, 34, and Edgar "JoJo" Padilla, 33, from Milwaukee sustained fatal injuries.

Police has taken a suspect into custody in connection with the double homicides.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy on both victims on Thursday.
