Four victims were attacked by same shark in South Padre Island.

South Padre Island, Texas - On Thursday, July 4, 2024, police and first responders were called to provide aid to at least four persons, including a man and woman beaten in the leg by a shark. The shark was video recorded in the water, but authorities say, it is believed that the same shark attacked all the victims.
The victims were all treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening bites by shark.
The shark left the area before police and first responders arrived at the scene. So far, no plans have been made to put down the shark.
