Multiple Funeral Mourning Attendees For The Late Da'Shontay L. King Sr. Reported Shot At Graceland Cemetery In Racine


Posted social media video recorded gunshots of an active shooter firing gunshots at a funeral grave site striking multiple mourning attendees.

Racine, Wisconsin - On Thursday, Racine police responded to shots fired at the Graceland Cemetery around 2:26p.m. and when they arrived, they found multiple people attending a funeral at a grave site were injured.

The funeral attendees were there to pay their last respects during the internment of the late Da'Shontay L. King Sr., 37, at his grave site.

At least 2 funeral attendees were injured by the multiple gunshots, reported the mainstream media. Earlier reports from funeral attendees indicated that at least 5 were injured included a child. Police have yet to confirm how many people were injured at the funeral grave site.

Police have an ongoing investigation.

A Facebook video was posted by Jenna Mae showing the moment when the gunshots were fired and then gunshots were fired again at the funeral attendees who scrambled for cover, which others took cover at adjacent head stones at the cemetery.

King Sr. was killed by Racine Police Officer Zachary B. Brenner on May 20, 2022 after fleeing from police. King Sr. was wanted on a warrant for felon possession of a firearm.
