Madison, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Wisconsin State Representative JoCasta Zamarripa, (D-Milw.) tweeted that she had repeatedly requested for extreme right-wing Republican candidate Leah Vukmir, who is running for the U.S. Senate to remove her photo prop from Vukmir's campaign website. Vukmir is a State Senator in Wisconsin.
Apparently, Zamarripa had requested the removal of the photo where she is pictured behind Governor Scott Walker (R) while Vukmir is conversing with him as they walk along in a corridor.
Zamarripa tweeted, ".@LeahVukmir - It's been more than 2 weeks since I asked you to remove my photo from your campaign website. I am not a prop for your extreme right-wing agenda. Please remove my photo immediately. #wipolitics #wisen", but it seems Vukmir continues to ignore Zamarripa's removal request.
Both Zamarripa and Vukmir were contacted by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA). Zamarripa on Friday told HNNUSA that she is looking at other options and is also considering taking legal action as well, if Vukmir doesn't remove the photo.
Vukmir has not responded to the HNNUSA inquiry to determine, if she will comply with Zamarripa's request.
