Montgomery, Alabama - On Tuesday, Doug Jones (D) was projected the winner for the U.S. Senate defeating Roy Moore (R). Jones made his victory speech and gave credit to a diverse voter turn out. According to the Washington Post exit polls, 92% of Black men, 97% of Black women, 23% of White men and 32% of White women voted for Jones. While 74% White men and 65% of White women including 7% of Black men and 3% of Black women voted for Moore.
Jones made history in Alabama and many GOP elected public officials campaigned against Moore who allegedly liked to date young teenage girls. Trump's endorsement didn't even help Moore.
