Waukesha, WI - On Monday, Anthony J. Deleon, 28, and Mitchell L. Gamroth, 21, were both charged each with two felony counts for armed robbery and a cash bond was set at $100,000 for each suspect. A preliminary hearing for both Deleon and Gamroth is scheduled for January 18, according to Waukesha County Court records.
Deleon and Gamroth were taken into custody of Friday after citizen tips led Waukesha police and the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office to their whereabouts. The suspects were charged for the January 8 armed robbery of the Clark gas station at 1436 E. Moreland Blvd. and the January 3 armed robbery of the BP gas station at 500 Arcadian Ave.
In both armed robberies the suspects fled with cash after brandishing a weapon. At the BP gas station, Deleon pointed a handgun to the head of a female clerk, according to Waukesha police.
If convicted on both felony counts, Deleon and Gamroth are each facing up to 40 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines for each count.
