Suspect arrested about half a mile where eight people were fatally shot.

Seal Beach, CA - On Wednesday, police arrested Scott Dekraai, 41, in connection with the murder of eight people at the Salon Meritage. Dekraai walked into the salon and just opened fire at the people inside. After the shooting, he just got back into his vehicle and fled.
Dekraai was spotted by police about half a mile from the massacre and was taken into custody. He was wearing a bullet proof vest and had multiple weapons and ammunition inside the vehicle.
Dekraai was involved in a bitter divorce for child custody. His ex-wife, Michelle Fournier Dekraai who worked as a license cosmetologist at the hair salon was fatally shot along with Randy Fannin, the owner. Other victims killed inside the salon were identified by Seal Beach police as, Christy Wilson, Victoria Buzzo, Laura Elody, Laura Wedd, Mitchelle Fast and Dave Caovette who was found dead outside.
One victim, Hattie Strez was wounded and remains in critical condition.
