Milwaukee (HNNUSA)- On Saturday, the Garfield Avenue Music Festival drew thousands to the fest. The Davis family entertained the crowds on N. 5th St. at one of four stages.
The weekend festival ended at 8:00 p.m. and the avenue was blocked between N. Martin Luther Drive to N. 7th St. on W. Garfield Avenue.
Snice 1998, the Garfield Avenue Blues, Gospel and Arts Festival family entertainment is provided by inner city blues bands, dance groups and gospel choirs. Barbeque and Louisiana Boil ethnic foods, clowns, magicians, puppet strolling and face painting for children, inner city arts and crafts were exhibited and sold to the general public.
