Today, St. Adalbert has become the largest Latino congregation of Mexican descent in the Milwaukee Archdiocese through Father Eleazar Perez Rodriguez recruitment efforts to attract parishioners through religious outreach programs and activities in the Latino community.
Auxiliary Bishop Perry is one of the candidates being considered to replace Archbishop Timothy Dolan in Milwaukee. On Wednesday, Dolan officially became the New York Archbishop replacing Cardinal Edward Egan, who retire as head of New York City's Roman Catholic Archdiocese.
