6 Black Homicide Victims Found At Northside Milwaukee Residence Identified

Five males and one female were found murdered by gunshots at a residence in the Northside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, the five male victims that were murdered have been identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as Charles L. Hardy, 42; Caleb A. Jordan, 23; Javoni Liddell, 31; Donald Smith, 43, and Donta H. Williams, 44, the murdered female victim was identified as Michelle D. Williams, 49. All the deceased victims were African-American.

The victims were allegedly shot execution-style, media reports indicate. According to Milwaukee police, officers on Sunday went to a residence located at the 2500 block of N. 21st Street at around 3:45p.m. for a welfare check. They were able to get access into the home and discovered 6 deceased bodies, five males and one female. 

Police are investigating the case as a multiple homicide investigation and unknown suspects are being sought. All the deceased victims were fatally shot, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.

The Homicide case is ongoing, according to police.


Update: 

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) released the following update on the 6 homicides at the 2500 block of N. 21st St., MPD detectives have been working tirelessly to solve this case since these events unfolded. We have been relentlessly following up on all leads. At this time, we can report that we have four persons of interest in custody. The persons of interest are all adults. We are still trying to determine what their involvement was, if any, with the homicides. No charges have been referred to the DA’s Office at this time.

Based on evidence at the scene and our ongoing investigation, we believe there were multiple suspects involved in this incident. The time this incident occurred still remains undetermined.
