Butschle is a retired Community Reintegretion Center corrections lieutenant officer who was identified as the person who posted in his Facebook account an alleged racist rhetoric rant against Blacks after the Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Thursday, the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression (MAARPR) posted a Racist Alert in their Facebook account identifying Greg Butschle, 57, as posting a racist rhetoric social media post in Facebook targeting blacks. Butschle's post read as follows, "Go Brewers. Now you can see why we have a city and county run by Black people. They're having a parade at 10 AM on a Friday. Packers play
Thursday. It would make more sense to have the parade on Sunday. A Black people don't know baseball They know how to shoot people, rob people, I guess the only people not working are Black people on Fridays just saying. Go Brewers Out of town don't bring any valuables to
Milwaukee because your car will be broken into by the Black people not working. so don't plan I'm bringing bunches of Black people in my neighborhood because l'm only handing candy out to white people whose parents have jobs and he had to takeoff Friday." He later deleted the social media post, but Facebook (FB) users screenshot the post before being deleted and began to share it, until it went viral.
Some FB users were mistakenly associating Butschle as an employee of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), but the MCSO later released a Press Release saying, "#MKESheriff is aware of a Facebook post containing vile, racist tropes by an individual whose profile IDs him as a Milwaukee County corrections lieutenant. This individual retired in 2024 from the Community Reintegration Center, which is not operated by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office does not condone racist rhetoric."
Butschle was a former Milwaukee County Reintegretion Center (formerly the House of Corrections) correctional lieutenant officer and not with Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. He retired in 2024.
Butschle also targeted Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley (D-Milw) who is a candidate for Wisconsin Governor. Butschle's social media post allegedly seems to indicate that the Governor's race is between an uneducated Black and White candidate. Hopefully, Butschle is not attempting to ignite a Race war for Governorship in Wisconsin.
Crowley, the Democrat candidate for Wisconsin Governor is Black and Tom Tiffany, the Republican candidate for Governor is White.
Butschle social media post dated October 22, 2026 reads, "#Wisconsin so glad to see such a stupid uneducated African American running for #Governor vs someone who can run the State and enrich the whole state. Too bad #Milwaukeecounty will be stuck with him after he looses.."
Today, the state legislature is controlled by the Republican/MAGA (Make Amerikkka Great Again) legislators.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, the current Democrat in office decided not to run for re-election.
Butschle has identified himself as a Trump supporter in his Facebook account, and his alleged racist rhetoric reflects the current MAGA cult political mindset.
