Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Saturday, Milwaukee police responded around 6:09 p.m. to the 2600 block of N. 52nd Street to a double shooting incident. An 13-year-old male and Sebastian Florentino, 14, were critically shot. Both the 13-year-old male and Florentino were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Florentino later died at the hospital, according to Milwaukee police. Police have arrested a 14-year-old male suspect in the homicide case and murder charges are pending.
In November 2021, Sebastian and his brother Giovanni Florentino, 16, were passengers of a stolen vehicle when the alleged driver DeWayne Widmer Jr. then 15, while speeding crashed at the 3600 block of W. Lincoln Ave.. Giovanni was killed in the crash after he and Sebastian then 13 were ejected on impact. Sebastian survived the crash with serious injuries.
