Greenfield - On Monday, Jim Tremmel, 60, and his motorcycle riding companion, a female German Shepherd named Molly were spotted in a local burger business at the 7600 block of W. Layton Ave. Tremmel admitted to spectators that his vision is impaired and considers Molly as his eye seeing dog who provides directions while riding in the Harley-Davidson. His candid humor about Molly providing directions drew smiles from those who admired Molly with pink sun goggles laying out comfortly on top of the gas tank.
Molly was only eight weeks old when Tremmel began to train her to ride along in his motorcycle. Molly has rode with Tremmel for the last 26 months and weights about 55 pounds, according to Tremmel.
A previous dog rode along in Tremmel's motorcycle for eight years.
