Wauwatosa Police Officer's Husband In Custody As Homicide Probe Continues

The husband of murdered Wauwatosa Police Officer Sebena has been taken into custody for questioning concerning her homicide.

Village of Wauwatosa, WI - On Wednesday, Today's TMJ News 4 citing sources reported that Benjamin Sebena the hushand of slained Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer Lynn Sebena, 30, had been taken into custody on Christmas day for questioning in connection with the officer's murder. Several days ago, police spent the day at Sebena's residence in Menomonee Falls investigating the homicide.
Benjamin Sebena remains detained at the Wauwatosa Police Department (WPD) as of Wednesday, but has not been charged, according to the TMJ News report. A search warrant was executed at the Sebena's residence on Wednesday.
Officer Sebena was found fatally shot near the Wauwatosa Fire House One by officers who were looking for the missing officer. She went missing between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Officer Sebena is the first officer to be killed in the line of duty in 96 years of the WPD history.
She was one of two officers killed on Christmas Eve, the other officer, was Corporal Jimmie Norman 53, from the Bellaire Police Department in Texas. The suspect, Harlem Harold Lewis, 21, was taken into custody for capital murder.
