Gun Distributor For The Pacific Cartel And Sinaloa Cartel Arrested By Mexican Federal Police

El Ramy taken into custody in Sinaloa by Federal Police.

Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico - On Saturday, the Mexican Federal Police (SSP) announced the latest blow to the Sinaloa Cartel. On Friday, Ramiro Rendón Rivera, 45, aka, "El Ramy" was taken into custody in Culiacán. He was the main manufacturer of weapons and ammunition for the Pacific Cartel, also known as the Sinaloa Cartel, which is operated and led by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera.
Rivera was taken into custody in the neighborhood of Infonavit Humaya, according to Federal Police.
El Chapo is wanted by both the Mexican government and the U.S., which has offered $5 million U.S. dollars for information leading to the arrest of the Sinaloa druglord.
