Sinister Figure Photographed Looking Out From 2nd Floor Window Watching Milwaukee Firefighters Attempting To Control Engulfed Building At 1685 S. Muskego Ave.

Buildings razed after blaze destroyed vacant corner building and adjacent businesses in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - An alleged sinister (evil looking) figure spotted at a multiple 2-alarm fire at an upper window from a corner building engulfed in a massive blaze at 1685 S. Muskego Ave. in the Southside of Milwaukee on early Monday, June 17, 2024 after 3:00 a.m..

Milwaukee Fire Department photo shows an unidentified evil figure on the 2nd floor staring out as firefighters fought to control the inferno that engulfed and destroyed multiple buildings located in the triangular block at W. Mitchell St., S. Muskego Ave., W. White and S. 20 Streets.

The building was constructed in 1895 and was sold in 2018 for $90,000 and the value of the corner building was valued at $103,200, according to the City of Milwaukee property tax accessor records.

The value of at least four other buildings, several facing S. Muskego Ave., which housed a dance hall, a clothing store and two others facing W. White Street, a botanical herbs store and another business is undetermined.
