17-year-old Lamar Conners Sentenced To 11 Years In Prison Including Supervision For The October 2022 Homicide Of Jonathan Robinson, 24, In Milwaukee's Southside

Conners sentenced to 7 years in prison and 4 years of extended supervision for the homicide of 24-year-old Robinson in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, Lamar Conners, 17, was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 4 years of extended supervision for the October 12, 2022 homicide of Jonathan Robinson, 24, at the 1800 block of S. 25 Street in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Conners was charged with 2nd-degree reckless homicide on October 14, 2022 in connection with Robinson's murder and a weapon was recovered at the scene.

According to the criminal, Conners admitted to shooting Robinson after the victim began to fight with several individuals at a residence. Conners told police that he shot Robinson because he believed the victim would hurt someone. So, Conners saw a handgun on top of the table, picked it up and shot Robinson multiple times. Robinson being shot left the residence and was found suffering from gunshot wounds by police outside. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Conners was also ordered to pay $18,117.51 for mandatory court costs.
