One Armed Masked Suspect Dead, Another Suspect Arrested By Milwaukee Police

Several suspects approached plainclothes police in vehicle and pulled a handgun, the suspect was shot by police and later died.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin- On Tuesday, police reported that 1 suspect is dead after being shot by police at the 700 block of W. Wind lake Ave. near W. Maple St. in the Southside of Milwaukee. The 34-year-old wounded suspect was taken to a local by the Milwaukee Fire Department, but later died from his wounds. Waukesha police who took over the Milwaukee shooting investigation identified the deceased suspect as Cesar Tomix Sarmiento-Molina, 34.
A second 19-year-old suspect was taken into custody by police.

According to Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales, three plainclothes Milwaukee Police Department officers including a detective were parked nearby doing surveillance at the Victor M. Cintron, 23, residence who is wanted for murder when the two suspects approached the officers in the vehicle and one masked suspect pulled out a handgun at them. The officers fired their weapons striking the armed suspect who later died, the other suspect ran from the officers, but was arrested nearby. 

It is not clear, whether the two suspects came out of Cintron Jr.'s residence on S. 7th Street. Both suspects have not been identified and the Waukesha Police Department will be investigating the shooting incident and what led to the shooting, according MPD Chief Morales.

Cintron Jr. is wanted for the murder of Jose Rodriguez, 22, who was fatally shot on Friday at the 2700 block of S. 27th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Cintron Jr. has been charged with two felony counts, first count for 1st-degree international homicide with the use of dangerous weapon in the Rodriguez murder and second count for attempted 2nd-degree intentional homicide with the use of a dangerous weapin. If convicted, Cintron Jr. is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole on the first count and 60 years in prison on the second count.
