Union Grove, WI - The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) confirmed that three men (all Afro-Americans) were fatally shot at point blank by a lone gunman, described as an Afro-American in his 20's at the Great Lakes Dragaway Black Sunday event. Two slain men were from Aurora, Illinois.
The deceased were identified as David L. Watson, 30, of Oswego, IL, Khalid R. Howard, 30, of Aurora, IL, and Derek K. Edwards, 26, of North Aurora, IL.

According to KCSO, the three deceased victims were at a vendors booth during the Larry's Fun Fest (Black Sunday) when a suspect opened fire around 6:59 p.m. striking the victims. Two of the victims died at the scene and the third victim died on his way to a local hospital.
Kenosha County Sheriff Sergeant Mark Malecki, the Public Information Officer stated that the three men killed on Sunday at the Great Lakes Dragaway were known gang members from the Aurora area and the triple homicide investigation is now looking to a possible rival gang member shooting massacre.
