24-year-old Suspect Connected To 100 Kidnappings in Michoacán

Suspect was one the leaders of the Caballeros Templarios that engaged in kidnappings and extortions.

Michoacán - The Mexican Federal Police announced that Nicolás Trujillo Urieta, 24, had been taken into custody in connection with 100 kidnappings in the state of Michoacán. Urieta was one of the leaders of the Caballeros Templarios and led a group that extorted businesses and abducted victims for profit.
Urieta is originally from Apaxtla de Castrejón, Guerrero. He was arrested without incident in the municipality of Atotonilco el Grande in the state of Hidalgo.
