Missing AirAsia Flight QZ8501 Wreckage Found And More than 40 Bodies Recovered

Rescue and recover crews have found the missing AirAsia Flight QZ8501 wreckage and have been recovering debris and bodies of Indonesia.

Indonesia - On Tuesday, AirAsia and the Indonesian navy have confirmed that debris from missing flight QZ8501 and more than 40 bodies have been recovered from the Karimata Strait in South East Belitung. Flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore was reported missing on Sunday around 7:24 a.m. The debris was found about 60 miles opposite from its original flight route.
Authorities are claiming that no survivors have been found in the search. At least 155 passengers and seven crew members (162) were on board of flight QZ8501, including 137 adults, 17 children, one infant, two pilots, one engineer and four flight crew members. 
"At the present time, search and rescue operations are still in progress and further investigation of the debris found at the location is still underway," AirAsia stated on Tuesday.
