Two Dead In Shootout At El Rey Supermarket On Chávez Drive Parking Lot In Milwaukee, Suspected Armed Man And Security Guard Reported Killed

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Saturday, around 10:23a.m. Milwaukee police responded to a shooting at 916 S. César E. Chávez Drive in the Southside of Milwaukee. According to a witness, Alejandro Rivera who arrived at the scene and video recorded the aftermath of the shooting told Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) that a Hispanic unidentified man and the 59-year-old Anthony "Tony" James Nolden, a security guard from Marshal Public Safety at El Rey Supermarket exchanged gunfire outside in the parking lot and the two apparently lost their lives. 

Police sources indicate, that the deceased men had an incident inside the store and the two men had exchanged gunfire in the parking lot before they died from gunshot wounds and a second security guard had fatally shot the man that had killed the other security guard.

41-year-old woman was also wounded with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Rivera says, he got to the scene at the parking lot and saw that both an unidentified Hispanic man and the security guard had lost their lives.

The investigation is ongoing to learn what led to the shootout.

Also, El Rey Supermarket has closed for the day as police continue to investigate. Police are reviewing video surveillance footage from inside and outside of the store.

Suspicious Package Detonated By Milwaukee Bomb Squad Across From Southside Popular Mexican Restaurant

Milwaukee police and bomb squad responded to a 911 call of an abandoned suspicious package in the Southside of Milwaukee at the Walker's Point neighborhood and predominantly Hispanic community Aldermanic 12th District.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, July 8, 2022, Milwaukee police from district station 2 and the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) Bomb Squad responded to a 911 call of a suspicious package left abandoned at a sidewalk across from a Southside Mexican restaurant at around 3:16p.m. in the 800 block of S. 5th St. near W. National Ave. in Milwaukee. The package was left behind across from the popular Botanas Mexican Restaurant.

According to police, a MPD Bomb Squad officer placed a water shotgun shell explosive by the abandoned package and detonated the shell. The officer says an x-ray showed wires and several tubular items, but after it was detonated, it turned out not to be an explosive device.

Arizona - Jerome Davison baselessly claims in a short "Make Rifles Great Again" (MRGA) campaign video that he needs a semiautomatic rifle (AR-15) to fend off "angry Democrats in Klan hoods." Which today, Klansmen/women are mostly White Republicans who support Trump and attended Make Amerikkka Great Again rallies (MAGA) including the Amerikkkan Freedom Tour (AFT) rallies. Trump is scheduled to be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 20, 2022 from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and a major protest is being plan for the AFT event.

When Davison was a child, he claims to experience the KKK threat, but wasn't afraid because his father had multiple weapons. But, in those days, there were no AR-15's.

Davison, is a Black Republican who is running in Arizona as a candidate to the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Davison short campaign video was shared by the Republican National Hispanic Assembly and many other MAGAs.

Davison posted the short MRGA campaign video in his Twitter account on July 6, 2022, just  days after the Highland Park 4th of July parade massacre in Illinois where 7 parade addendees (spectators/participants) were fatally shot and dozens reported injured.

Davison wrote in Twitter, "I was born in 1970 in Mississippi. When the KKK came to town, I always felt safe, because my father had rifles to protect us."

Laredo's Francisco Farias Elementary School Assistant Principal Guadalupe Cortinas Jr. Indicted By Feds For Illegal Smuggling Of 8 Undocumented Individuals

Cortinas Jr. was arrested in June after a U.S. Border Patrol agent at a checkpoint discovered 8 undocumented individuals being smuggled from Laredo.

Laredo, Texas - On June 6, 2022, Guadalupe "Lupe" Cortinas Jr., 46, the Assistant Principal at Francisco Farias Elementary School was arrested at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint at the 29 mile marker of Interstate 35 along with 8 undocumented individuals, according to a federal affidavit in support of criminal charges for smuggling undocumented individuals.

According to the indictment, Cortinas Jr. who was traveling in a gray Chevrolet Tahoe stopped at the previously mentioned border patrol checkpoint at 2:35 a.m. when a U.S. Border Patrol agent (BPA) while inspecting the inside of Cortinas Jr.'s truck noticed multiple individuals hiding under some camping items. The BPA had asked Cortinas Jr., if he was going camping and he responded "No", but that he was headed to see his sister.

Once the BPA noticed multiple individuals hiding in the truck, he asked Cortinas Jr. to exit the vehicle including all the occupants in the truck that were hiding.

Cortinas Jr. and the 8 undocumented individuals were taken into custody. Cortinas Jr. while being interviewed told the BPA that he was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, according to the federal affidavit.

Several Mexican national undocumented individuals agreed to testify against Cortinas Jr., who told the BPA that they made arrangements to be smuggled into the U.S. from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and had stayed at muliple stash houses in Laredo and that someone would pick them up to transport them to Colorado. When approaching the checkpoint, Cortinas Jr. told the undocumented individuals to keep quiet, according to two of the individuals being smuggled.

Undocumented individuals pay smugglers (coyotes) between $8,000 to $15,000 per person to be smuggled into the U.S.

If convicted, Cortinas Jr. is facing up to 10 years in a federal prison and a fine for each federal count conviction.

Cortinas Jr. who was hired in 2018 by the Laredo Independent School District (LISD) makes more than $80,800 per year. 

A GoFundMe account was created for his legal defense, which also stated his "temporary lapse in judgement" before it was disabled after this article was published and had raised $570 of $10,000 sought. The LISD has not made Cortinas Jr.'s arrest public to the parents of the students attending the school, but has been placed on administrative leave (not known, if paid or none paid leave) pending the outcome of the federal indictment.

On June 30, 2022, U.S. Magistrate Judge Christopher Dos Santos of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas 

dismissed the federal criminal complaint against Cortinas Jr.  as motioned by the government including the released of two material witnesses detained, according to a dismissal motion in case #5:22-mj-01057 was filed.

On Tuesday, Poncho Casso who is a candidate for Mayor in Laredo posted information on his Facebook account about the BPA arrest of Cortinas Jr. for allegedly smuggling undocumented individuals. Also, Priscilla Villarreal-Treviño, from La GordiLoca News Facebook page reported what Casso had posted and included a one-page federal affidavit supporting the federal criminal charges against Cortinas Jr.

Highland Park Sniper Robert E. Crimo III Charged With 7 Counts Of Murder For The 4th Of July Parade Massacre

Crimo III has been charged with 7 felony counts of murder and additional charges expected.

Highland Park, Illinois - The Lake County State Attorney's Office charged Robert E. Crimo III, 21, of Highwood with 7 felony counts of intentional murder and additional felony counts are forthcoming in the upcoming days.

Crimo III was booked at the Lake County jail on Wednesday. If convicted, Crimo III is facing 7 life term sentences without the possibility of parole.

According to the criminal complaint, Crimo III intended to commit additional murders in Madison, Wisconsin, but decided he wasn't prepared and decided to return to Illinois. He was stopped on Monday just after 6:00p.m. in a traffic stop by Lake Forest police and was taken into custody without incident.

Crimo III, a known Trump supporter and a MAGA cult follower is accused of fatally shooting 7 victims and wounding 47 other victims with a high-powered rifle attending the 4th of July 2022 Highland Park parade. 

Crimo III  was able to get on the roof of a building by climbing a ladder and discharged his weapon at least 70 times at parade spectators and participants. He then escaped the crime scene disguised as a female to blend with the crowds that were running for their lives in the chaos and then he walked to his mother's home. Crimo III  was able to use his mother's vehicle to travel to Madison and then return to Illinois.

The seven victims killed by Crimo III were identified as:

• Katherine Goldstein, 64, of Highland Park

• Irina McCarthy, 35, of Highland Park 

• Kevin McCarthy, 37, of Highland Park 

• Jacquelyn Sundheim, 63, of Highland Park 

• Stephen Straus, 88, of Highland Park 

• Nicolas Toledo-Zaragoza, 78, of Morelos, Mexico 

• Eduardo Uvaldo, 69, of Waukegan 

Facebook Blocks User For 24 Hours From Publishing For Simply Sharing A Photo Of The Trump Supporting Sniper Robert E. Crimo Who Killed 7 At The Highland Park 4th of July Parade

A Milwaukee Facebook user has been blocked by the social media for 24 hours from publishing for sharing a photo of the Highland Park 4th of July 21-year-old sniper Robert E. Crimo.

Milwaukee,  Wisconsin - On Wednesday, a Facebook user in Milwaukee was blocked from posting for 24 hours by the social media for sharing a photo of the Trump supporter sniper Robert E. Crimo, 21, who fatally shot 7 attendees of the Highland Park, Illinois 4th of July 2022 parade on Monday and wounding at least 47 other parade spectators and participants (ages 8 years to 85 years) in the parade.

The blocked FB user provided the block notification and images to Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA).

Fireworks And Gunfire Mayhem Reported In Downtown Minneapolis On 4th of July 2022

A mix of gunfire and fireworks was reported in downtown Minneapolis on 4th of July 2022.

Minneapolis, Minnesota - On late Monday (July 4, 2022) to early Sunday, several men in vehicles fired some fireworks at pedestrians in downtown Minneapolis after the fireworks were canceled.

At least 25 individuals were involved in shooting fireworks at people and buildings at the 200 block of Portland Ave. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to a 911 call.

Some of the individuals attempted to break into a building.

The incident went on for hours, according to Downtown Minneapolis Crime Watch & Information (Precinct 1) who posted videos on their Facebook page, while no police response. Also, gunshots were reported.

When police finally responded, the individuals involved shot fireworks at police.
