Brawl Reported In Downtown Laredo At Flores St. And Iturbide St., No Police On Sight

A large brawl broke out in downtown Laredo between separate groups of men and women.

Laredo, Texas - On Sunday night, Rudy Gucci from Rudy Gucci Entertainment posted a public video on his Facebook account that went viral showing separate brawls between groups of  women and groups of men in downtown Laredo at Flores Ave. and Iturbide St.. Also, El Miguelillo shared and posted several public videos of the same brawl on Gucci's video comment thread.

It is not clear what ignited the brawl between separate groups in downtown Laredo, but police didn't respond during the heat of the brawl. 

The Laredo Police Department Twitter nor its Facebook account has reported any brawl happening in downtown Laredo and if any arrests were made.

According to an earlier radio broadcast on EXA 95.7 FM, Gucci had announced a free fiesta on Sunday night at La Patrona Disco located at 1011 Iturbide Ave. where Drakote from Puerto Rico, Rudy Gucci and VJ009 were performing live.

Both Gucci and El Miguelillo were contacted by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA), but was unsuccessful in getting any response.

25-year-old Wilson M. Medina-Cruz Charged With 1st-degree Intentional Homicide For The Death Of Ninoshka Maestre Lozada, 24, In West Allis

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, Wilson Manuel Medina-Cruz, 25, was booked at the Milwaukee County jail and charged on Saturday morning with 1st-degree intentional homicide including use of a dangerous weapon for the July 18, 2022 death of Ninoshka Maestre Lozada, 24, in West Allis. A preliminary booking cash bond was set at $300,000 for Medina-Cruz, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

If convicted, Medina-Cruz is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole. Medina-Cruz is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on August 2, 2022.

Last Monday, West Allis police responded to shots fired at the 1300 block S. 72 Street in West Allis around 12:30 p.m., upon arrival they found that Lozada had been shot multiple times in her backyard. Police say, the West Allis Fire Department personnel provided medical attention to Lozada, but she tragically died at the scene.

Lozada is survived by four children ages 5, 2, 1, and 3 months, which two of her children were at home when Lozada was fatally shot by Medina-Cruz who then fled the crime scene.

Medina-Cruz was taken into custody by SWAT from West Allis at a local hotel on Tuesday morning. According to preliminary information, Medina-Cruz is the father of Lozada's three children. 

According to the criminal complaint, Medina-Cruz admitted to police that he fatally shot Lozada after an argument between both over another woman who had a child with him. Medina-Cruz was dating both Lozada and the other woman, which the women got pregnant from Medina-Cruz.

He was arrested at the Embassy Hotel in Oak Creek the day after killing Lozada. Medina-Cruz called the second woman and told her he had shot Lozada after getting into an argument.

Lozada and the woman were arguing in Facebook before she was killed by Medina-Cruz, the woman told police.

He had bought a flight ticket for Puerto Rico and was getting ready to flee from Wisconsin to avoid prosecution, according to the criminal complaint.

According to courts records, Medina-Cruz has multiple open court cases, the last case was filed in Waukesha County on October 22, 2021, he was charged with one felony count for bail jumping, and was on a $1,000 signature bond on March 25, 2022, and is scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing for August 2, 2022. The other case was filed earlier in Waukesha County on March 11, 2021, Medina-Cruz was charged with one felony count for taking and driving a vehicle without the owners consent. He posted a $500.00 signature bond on April 1, 2021 and then the bond was forfeited on September 20, 2021 for not showing up to court and a warrant was issued.

On February 18, 2021, Medina-Cruz was charged in Milwaukee County with one misdemeanor count for disorderly conduct with a modifier for domestic abuse and was out on a $1,000 signature bond on March 20, 2022. Medina-Cruz was ordered to have no contact with several women. He is scheduled for a jury trial on August 17, 2022.

On October 21, 2020, a restraining order was filed in Milwaukee County against Medina-Cruz and on November 4, 2020, the petitioner of the restraining order did not appear in court and the case was dismissed.

Lozada's funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, according to family members.

Marshal Public Safety Director Enoch Wilson Was An Agressor Who Allegedly Had No Grounds To Claim Self-defense For The Murder Of Luis Lorenzo At El Rey

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided not to criminally charge Wilson for fatally shooting Lorenzo at the El Rey Supermarket on July 9. The Luis Lorenzo family attorney says that the D.A.'s office including police did an inadequate investigation in the Lorenzo homicide case.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office (D.A.) decided not to criminally charge Enoch Wilson, 43, the Director of the Marshal Public Safety company for fatally shooting Luis Lorenzo, 36, at the El Rey Supermarket on July 9. 2022. According to the D.A.'s office, it confirmed that Lorenzo never committed any crime nor did he intended to do so while inside El Rey. The D.A. also confirmed that Marshal Public Safety Officer Anthony James Nolden, 59, had refused to let Lorenzo go inside the El Rey with a backpack. Lorenzo refused to leave his backpack at the front El Rey Supermarket customer service counter.

Lorenzo never brandished a firearm or indicated he had a weapon. The only thing that Lorenzo did according to the D.A.'s office determination was that he made a gesture at Nolden, but didn't touch him and then fled from the El Rey store into the far Southeast parking lot where Wilson who Nolden had called for backup tackled Lorenzo to the ground after Nolden had pepper sprayed Lorenzo in the face. 

While Lorenzo was being physically assaulted on the ground by both Wilson and Nolden. They were both illegally carrying firearms while working as private security at El Rey because Wilson's firearm license expired on June 28, 2022 and Nolden's firearm license had expired on March 10, 2022, according to the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) website.

Attorney William Sulton who represents the Luis Lorenzo family during a press conference said that, the Lorenzo family are upset how the family has been treated as crime victims, there has been no outreach by the D.A.'s office nor has any documents including videos from the El Rey has been released to them to review before the D.A.'s office decided to released their determination not to charge Wilson with Lorenzo's homicide. The information released by the D.A.'s office shows Mr. Lorenzo was murdered and that is outrageous, the D.A.'s office information that publicly released shows, Mr. Lorenzo didn't steal anything from El Rey food market, he didn't threaten anybody, that Mr. Lorenzo didn't get into a fist fight with anybody, in fact the opposite is true, that he was sprayed in the face and was blinded, that he exited the building and yet he was being pursued out of the building by larger man who takes him to the ground and there's a second much larger man attacking him...they were going to stop Mr. Lorenzo and that's what was going to happen and he tried to save himself and that had tragic consequences for Mr. Nolden and that's a tragedy, but that doesn't justify the shooting death of Mr. Lorenzo in any shape or form...the D.A.'s office and police didn't do the background investigation that would show both Wilson and Nolden were illegally carrying firearms because their firearm endorsement in their permits had elapsed while working at El Rey. Also, according to the DSPS regulations, El Rey had no sustancial need to have armed private security guards at the store, since there is no history of customer violent interactions that would require armed security and there is no private security company that would tell their employees to exit the building they are supposedly to protect or tell them to go out and tackle somebody to the ground, these are not police officers and the D.A.'s office confirmed, that Mr. Lorenzo did not commit a crime in that store...Mr. Wilson and Mr. Nolden were the aggressors, not Mr. Lorenzo, so it's not self-defense and you can't predict the circumstances for your own defense, which is exactly what they did. According to what the D.A.'s office says, Lorenzo was acting in self-defense, Sulton indicated during the press conference. 

"What's troubling about this case, is that some how, if you have been convicted of a crime in this state, some how you are outside of the protections of the law and that is just wrong," Sulton said.

The lack of the D.A.'s office to release any information to the Lorenzo family is indicative of an inadequate investigation, according to Sulton.

Sulton says, he intends get all the information and videos available in the Lorenzo case whether the D.A.'s office decides to release it or by filing a subpoena.

Murder-Suicide Reported In Milwaukee, 49-year-old Ladda Donsanouphith Shot To Death, Suspect Dies From Self-inflicted Wound

49-year-old woman was fatally shot by her male domestic acquaintance at Silver City neighborhood.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, Milwaukee police responded around 2:15 p.m.to a 911 call for a shooting at the 3400 block of W. National Ave. in the Southside of Milwaukee. When police arrived they found Ladda Donsanouphith, 49, with multiple gunshot injuries to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Later in the afternoon, at the 1000 block of N. 26 Street, Bounlanh Souvannasane, 62, shot himself in the head when police were closing in on him, in relation to the 3400 block of W. National Ave. homicide investigation. Souvannasane died at 5:57 p.m. at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office. Souvannasane was the suspect sought for the homicide of Donsanouphith in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Both Donsanouphith and Souvannasane had a domestic relationship (ex-boyfriend), which Donsanouphith was a single mother raising three male children. She was known to be very friendly and made her friends laugh and smile when she was present at events in the Laotian community in Milwaukee.

No further details have been released by police.

Enoch Wilson, Who Tackled Luis Lorenzo To The Ground At El Rey Parking Lot And Then Killed Him After Shooting Anthony James Nolden Won't Get Charged, Milwaukee County D.A. Says

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office says that Wilson won't face criminal charges for fatally shooting Lorenzo at the El Rey Supermarket parking lot over what ignited the whole confrontation and altercation, the El Rey in-store rule of no large bags or backpacks allowed inside the store.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided that Enoch Wilson, 43, the Director of the Marshal Public Safety (MPS) company who on July 9, 2022, he and MPS Officer Anthony James Nolden, 59, had expired firearm licenses at the time they pursued Luis Lorenzo, 36, into the El Rey Supermarket parking lot after he ran away from them and the tragic triple shooting occurred.

The Lorenzo family hired an attorney to pursue legal relief for the family who, since the death of Lorenzo have been seeking justice and holding protests at El Rey chanting "El Rey Cover-up, Justice for Pito".

Attorney William Sulton, who represents the Lorenzo family discovered that both Wilson and Lorenzo were working at El Rey Supermarket with expired firearm licenses and that El Rey is also responsible (liable) for what happened at the parking lot.

Attorney Sulton during a press conference by El Rey last Sunday stated, "Mr. Nolden and other private security personnel that work at El Rey do not have licenses to carry firearms while acting as private security and that is a crime in our state and chargeable to the supervisor here at El Rey...that is something that MPD has ignored and we intend to ask them why is that the case...Right now certainly we have enough information to pursue a case against both El Rey's and the private security firms based on the fact that they hired folks and allowed them to work unlawfully carrying firearms." Nolden's license to carry a firearm as a private security guard expired on March 10, 2022 and Wilson's license to carry a firearm expired on June 28, 2022, according to the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services website.

Sulton says that the MPD hasn't made any referrals the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office to criminally charge MPS company for illegal carrying of firearms as a private security company and El Rey for hiring and allowing armed security guards to illegally carry firearms at the grocery store who are not trained or licensed to carry firearms while acting as security guards.

The D.A.'s Office confirmed that Lorenzo had ran out of the El Rey after making a gesture to Nolden after Nolden attempted to enforce an in-store rule of no large bags and backpacks allowed inside, which Lorenzo refused to leave his backpack at the front customer service counter. Nolden called Wilson for backup instead of calling police.

It hasn't been determined yet, if either Wilson or Nolden ever called police before chasing after Lorenzo into the parking lot.

Both Wilson and Nolden pursued Lorenzo as he fled from the store into the parking lot. Wilson tackled Lorenzo to the ground after Nolden attempted to pepper spray Lorenzo as he fled. Lorenzo most likely felt that his life was threatened and took out a handgun from his backpack and fatally shot Nolden and then Wilson fatally shot Lorenzo.

A 41-year-old woman was grazed by gunfire in the parking lot, but it hasn't been determined, if Wilson or Lorenzo's gunfire striked her.

Wilson as Nolden and Lorenzo do have a right for self-defense. In this tragic case, Wilson was the sole survivor.

Now. Wilson and El Rey will most likely face a wrongful death lawsuit and possibly a federal case as well to determined, if both Wilson and Nolden violated Lorenzo's Civil Rights.

The Lorenzo family will now push for Wilson and El Rey to be criminally charged for the expired firearm license violation while working as private security. Now we do know, the only reason both Wilson and Nolden pursued Lorenzo was because he made a gesture to Nolden who reacted to it and they went after Lorenzo ending in the tragic death of both Nolden and Wilson including a 41-year-old unidentified woman being grazed by gunfire in the parking lot.

The 41-year-old woman can most likely filed a lawsuit against both El Rey and the Marshal Public Safety company because El Rey has a no weapons allowed sign on its entrance door. Under the Conceal Carry Weapon (CCW) Wisconsin law, El Rey is liable over a shooting that occurs in the property. If El Rey wouldn't have place a no weapons allowed at the store, El Rey would have been protected against any liability under the CCW law, if a shooting occurred in their property.

24-year-old Ninoshka Lozada Fatally Shot In West Allis, Suspect Arrested

Lozada was fatally shot multiple times in the backyard of her home.

Cotulla, Texas - On Thursday, July 14, 2022, the Medina County Sheriff's Office notified the U.S. Border Parol Corulla Station agents that the Texas Department of Public Safety - South Texas Region near Devine, Texas had taken into custody five undocumented individuals after a failed human smuggling attempt. The undocumented individuals were transferred to the U.S. Border Patrol Station for processing and discovered that José Abraham Quinteros-Del Cid had a criminal history and was wanted in Federicksburg, Virginia for a probation violation (a violent sexual predator) who was convicted for sexual indecency with a child.
