Alicia A. Ojeda, Pleads Guilty To Two Felony Counts Of Reckless Homicide For The October 2020 Fatal Crash Deaths Of Teresa And Luis Contreras In Milwaukee

Ojeda in a guilty plea agreement got two felony counts for knownly operating a vehicle under suspension causing death dropped, but the dismissed felony counts were read for the record in court.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Alicia A. Ojeda, 34, entered a guilty plead to two felony counts for 2nd-degree reckless homicide, she is facing up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines for each count.

Ojeda is scheduled for a sentencing hearing in court on April 27th.

Ojeda in October killed a Milwaukee couple during a fatal crash in the Southside of Milwaukee at the 5200 block of S. 27th Street, the victims were Teresa Contreras, 50, and Luis Contreras, 48, according to the criminal complaint.

The criminal complaint says that Ojeda was driving at a high rate of speed (more than 75mph on a 40mph speed zone) and fatally struck the Contreras' vehicle and both Luis who was the driver of the second vehicle and his wife Teresa died at the scene. The Contreras couple was headed home at the time of the fatal crash.

Ojeda was also charged with two felony counts for knownly operating a vehicle under suspension causing death, she was facing up to 6 years in prison and $10,000 in fines for each count, if convicted, but the two felony counts were dismissed on Tuesday by recommendation from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

Teresa worked for CORE el Centro in the Southside of Milwaukee for 16 years; she started in the role of coordinator of the Children's Program, became a Zumba instructor, and most recently before her death was the Manager of the Mujeres Con Poder Program, according to CORE El Centro, a non-profit organization.

Wisconsin Fugitive Theodore Edgecomb Wanted For The Homicide Of Local Immigration Attorney Jason T. Cleereman Arrested In Kentucky By State Police For OWI And Speeding

Edgecomb, a fugitive from Wisconsin has been arrested in Kentucky by State Police on a misdemeanor charge for OWI and is being held without bail on a felony murder warrant from Wisconsin in connection with the September homicide of local immigration attorney Cleereman.

Radcloiff, Kentucky - State Police in Kentucky arrested Theodore Edgecomb, 31, on March 4, 2021 for a misdemeanor charge of OWI (.08), speeding over 12 miles the speed limit, giving officer false identifying information, possession of marijuana, open bottle of alcoholic beverage in vehicle and for a felony fugitive warrant from Wisconsin in connection with the September 22, 2020 murder of local immigration attorney Jason T. Cleereman, 54, in Milwaukee.

Edgecomb is facing a court hearing in Hardin County in Kentucky to determine, if he will be extradited to Wisconsin to face a felony count for a homicide charge or he will waive an extradite challenge.

On October 2, 2020, Edgecomb, was charged in Wisconsin with one felony count for 1st-degree reckless homicide,  including use of a dangerous weapon, one felony count for bail jumping and one misdemeanor count for bail jumping in connection with the September 2020 homicide of Cleereman, an immigration and divorce attorney who was fatally shot by Edgecomb in an apparent road rage incident at E. Brady St. and N. Holton St., according to Milwaukee police.

If convicted on all counts in Wisconsin, Edgecomb is facing up to 60 years in prison on the first homicide felony count, up to 6 years in prison and $10,000 in fines on the second felony count and up to 9 months and $10,000 in fines for the third misdemeanor count.

Cleereman was the passenger of a vehicle whose wife was the driver and she witnessed the shooting.

Cleereman practiced law for 22 years and was the former Chairman of the Southside Organizing Center (SOC) and an active Board member, according to SOC.

According to the criminal complaint, Edgecomb is being sought by Milwaukee police and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest in October.

Cleereman's wife told police that Edgecomb was riding his bicycle Westbound on the Eastbound side of the street as she was headed East and almost struck him. Cleereman reacted and made a comment.

While stopped at the corner, Edgecomb caught up with the victims and he got close and asked Cleereman, if he had said something about him and then struck Cleereman through the open vehicle window. Cleereman got out of the vehicle and confronted Edgecomb as he took out a gun and fired at Cleereman fatally striking him in the head. Cleereman's wife attempted to warn her husband that Edgecomb had a gun, but Cleereman didn't hear his wife's warning and got killed.

Edgecomb remained on the run at the time, but his bicycle was found at his home. Milwaukee police followed a trail of security cameras in the area, which footage showed where Edgecomb was headed too after the shooting.

Off-duty Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew M. Willmann Charged With 2 Misdemeanor Counts In Alleged Assault Of Several Photographers Covering Downtown Protest

An African-American female photographer claimed that she and another White photographer were assaulted while covering a protest in Milwaukee by an off-duty Milwaukee police officer and a female, which later was discovered it was his 36-year-old wife, who both seemed to be intoxicated at the time.

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office criminally charged Matthew M. Willmann, 38, a Milwaukee Police Officer with 2 misdemeanor counts, which included battery and disorderly conduct for the July 5th, 2020 incident in downtown. If convicted, Willmann is facing up to 9 months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for battery and up to 90 days in jail and up to $1,000 in fines for the disorderly conduct charge, according to court records.

Willmann was set a signature bond of $500 on February 24 and is expected back in court on March 8th for a pre-trial hearing.

Willmann was suspended without pay for 45 days after admitting to the incident from the Milwaukee Police Department for violating the department's core values and respect policies and must serve the suspension in three 15-day suspensions and the first suspension began on January 17th.

On July 2020, Milwaukee police responded to an assault (altercation) complaint incident at the 1000 block of N. Old World 3rd Street in front of the Milwaukee Brat House Bar & Grill where an off-duty White Milwaukee Police Officer identified as Matthew M. Willmann and his wife, Marie J. Willmann, 36, allegedly assaulted two photographers that were covering and documenting a downtown protest, which one is a female African-American identified as LaTasha Sangster Lux, according to her Facebook (FB) account where she posted about the incident.

The officer's wife, Marie, was not criminally charged for initiating the incident in July.

Lux claims that she was physically assaulted (socked) by Willmann and his wife Marie who threw a drink (cup of beer) at both photographers. Sean Kafer, was identified as the other photographer with Lux who had his camera damaged as well.

Lux posted on her FB account, "These fine Americans confronted a groups of peaceful protesters today by not only hurling obscenities and racial slurs, but the lady even threw a drink. Myself and another photographer who was documenting the protest were physically assaulted by the male resulting in camera damages. That last image is him right before he socked me. Please feel free to share. Let's make em' famous." She also posted Officer Willmann's photo including his wife who seems to be smiling. Lux also indicated in a video posted as well that both Willmann and his wife seemed intoxicated at the time of the assault.

Police cited everyone involved in the incident.

Willmann and his wife are allegedly Trump supporters and the Milwaukee Police Association endorsed Trump for President in 2020.

15-year-old Wauwatosa Mayfair Shooter Xavier Sevilla From Milwaukee Will Remain In Juvenile Court

Sevilla, the alleged shooter at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa in November 2020 will remain in juvenile court after a filed petition by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office to waive him to adult court was rejected by judge.

Wawautosa, WI - The 15-year-old shooting suspect identified as Xavier Sevilla from Milwaukee, who allegedly shot 7 adults and one teen at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa on November 20th, will remain in juvenile court, according to a juvenile court hearing on Thursday. He will not be waived to adult court, because the prosecution failed to prove the "burden of support" to waive him into adult court, according to the presiding judge.

AP reported that, "Assistant Public Defender Paul Rifelj argued that the boy's personality was that of a child and that the treatment services available to him in the juvenile system would be best to help him."

Sevilla was charged in a petition of juvenile delinquency with 8 felony counts of 1st-degree reckless injury and one misdemeanor count for possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18. if convicted, Sevilla will most likely remain in detention until he turns 18 and the juvenile conviction record will remain sealed.

Sevilla who was identified by Wisconsin Right Now dot com in December was on probation for a prior criminal offense and was not supposed to violate his conditions of probation.

According to police, Sevilla fled the scene by calling a Uber, which took him to his family residence. Police arrested the Sevilla a day after while traveling in a vehicle with Illinois plates. A Glock 9mm handgun was recovered when the teen was taken into custody. The suspect also had a packed bag and was attempting to flee the state.

Tyrell D. Joseph And Ismael E. Moreno Charged In Connection With Purcell A. Pearson's Homicide Over Sunglasses Sale

Pearson was allegedly shot by Moreno, the passenger of a van during an attempted robbery of a pair of $500 designer sunglasses, according to the criminal complaint.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Monday, February 22, 2021, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office issued criminal charges against Tyrell D. Joseph, 17, and Ismael E. Moreno, 17, in connection with the homicide of Purcell A. Pearson, 22, that occurred on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at approximately 12:23 p.m., on 2200 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue, the Milwaukee Police Department reported in a press release.

According to the criminal complaint, Pearson was apparently shot by Moreno, the passenger of a van while Joseph was driving. Both Moreno and Joseph were in the van as they attempted to flee with Pearson's Cartier designer sunglasses, as Pearson hanged on the side of the van passenger door and Moreno then fired the fatal shot that struck Pearson in the left side of the chest making him fall. Pearson was able to get up and run about 20 yards before he collapsed from the gunshot wound and died at the scene along the 2200 block of W. Wisconsin Ave. 

Multiple surveillance cameras in the area captured the incident, according to police.

Both Joseph and Moreno are related, their mothers are sisters.

Joseph was charged with one count of First Degree Reckless Homicide – Party to a Crime. If convicted, he could face up to 60 years in prison.

Milwaukee Police say that the two murder suspects remain on the run and police continue to seek both Joseph and Moreno.

Rebecca S. Pekrul Charged With The Stabbing Homicide Of Mathew S. Newkirk In West Allis

Newkirk was stabbed multiple times by Pekrul at an apartment complex in West Allis.

West Allis, Wisconsin - On Monday, Rebecca S. Pekrul, 28, of Cudahy was charged with one felony count for 1st-degree reckless homicide and use of a dangerous weapon in connection with the fatal stabbing murder of Mathew S. Newkirk, 35, at the 1700 block of S. 116 St. in West Allis. If convicted, Pekrul is facing up to 60 years in prison. A cash bail of $50,000 was set for Pekrul. She is expected back in court on March 3rd, for a preliminary hearing.

According to the criminal complaint, Pekrul who was intoxicated was trying to get Newkirk mad and a witness at the apartment told her to cool down and drink some water. Pekrul got mad and slapped the witness and Pekrul grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Newkirk multiple times in the chest and arm. The witness immediately grabbed a hold of Newkirk and took him out of the apartment where he later died in the hallway as several people including the witness attempted to render life saving aid to Newkirk, but they were unsuccessful. Newkirk, Pekrul and the witness all knew each other.

Last Thursday, West Allis Police responded to a residence in the 1700 block of S. 116th St., for a report of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers located Newkirk with significant injuries. West Allis Police and West Allis Fire personnel provided lifesaving measures to the victim. 

Ultimately, Newkirk succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene. Pekrul, the suspect was arrested on scene. The victim is a resident of West Allis; the suspect is a resident of Cudahy.

35-year-old Biker Enthusiast Stabbed To Death In West Allis By 28-year-old Woman From Cudahy In Wisconsin

The 35-year-old biker who was stabbed to death has been identified as Matthias Midas, aka, Earz Ink by his acquaintances on social media.

West Allis, Wisconsin - On Thursday, the West Allis Police Department released the following press release, at about 1:33am, West Allis Police responded to a residence in the 1700 block of S. 116th St., for a report of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male with significant injuries. West Allis Police and West Allis Fire personnel provided lifesaving measures to the victim. 

Ultimately, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene. A 28-year-old female suspect was arrested on scene. The victim is a resident of West Allis; the suspect is a resident of Cudahy.

The 35-year-old homicide victim was identified as Matthias Midas, aka, Earz Ink (birth name, Mathew S. Newkirk) who was known as a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Savage Breed Southern Wisconsin MC who are mourning his loss, according to acquaintances and friends in social media.

The homicide suspect was identified as Rebecca Pekrul and is facing a felony charge for 1st-degree reckless homicide and use of a dangerous weapon.
