Mixfits M.C. Members James More And Suave Maxwell Killed In Motorcycle And Truck Collision

Two members of the Mixfits Motorcycle Club from Milwaukee were killed in a collision after a truck turned in front of them.

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, police reported that two motorcycle riders going eastbound at the 600 block of W. McKinley Ave. were killed from injuries after a 21-year-old Ram pickup truck driver made a left turn in front them causing a deadly collision. The two men driving separately in motorcycles struck the truck when it turned in front of them and weren't able to avoid the collision, according to police. The two deceased bikers were identified as James More, 35, aka, "Jimmy Throttle" and Suave Maxwell, 25, both members of the Mixfits Motorcycle Club. More was the President of the Mixfits Motorcycle Club and former Vice-President of the FreeRiders M.C.

Police continue to investigate the fatal crash.

Teen Involved In Three Vehicle Crash At N. 42 And W. Fairmount Brags On Facebook From Hospital

A 16-year-old teen driver who allegedly caused a three vehicle crash has been bragging on Facebook about telling Milwaukee police that he was released for treatment and remains at a Madison hospital.

Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that a 16-year-old teen driver who allegedly caused a three vehicle collision at N 42nd Street and W. Fairmount on July 31 has been bragging on Facebook about being released by police and continues to get treatment at a Madison hospital. The teen broke both legs, his pelvis and sustained other injuries and will undergo multiple surgeries, according to the teen.

The Facebook name on the account is Ronnie Jackson. Jackson has been posting videos, photos and comments from the Madison hospital and apparently those videos have gone viral on social media.

Even his own mother, Kelly Westerhausen on Saturday posted the following comment on a comment thread in the Stolen Cars Milwaukee Facebook page in response to comments about her son, "Just so everyone knows my son did not still the car one of his friends I guess stole the car from somebody and let my son use the car and just for the record I have the please report the police were never chasing my son the police were going the opposite way of him when he decided to turn fast on the corner and lost control I'm not making any excuses for him but I just think everybody should know facts before before they just assume that he went and stole the car and was on a high-speed chase in all this other stuff trust me I am very upset with him and I feel bad for everybody involved in this situation I am also trying to help the lady get her house fixed and hopefully everybody in this situation has insurance!!!"

Jackson says, he told Milwaukee police that he doesn't remember what happened and was released to his mother.

In brief: Last week, a posted Facebook video by Trent Towers shows the aftermath of a three vehicle crash at the 4200 block of W. Fairmount Ave on Sunday. According to police, a stolen Toyota Camry driven by a 16-year-old teenager ran a stop sign going northbound on N. 42nd and struck a 2005 Chrysler 300 going westbound on W. Fairmount Ave. The 2012 Toyota Camry ended up crashing into the side of a home.

A 16-year-old teen who was driving the stolen Camry and his 20-year-old passenger were seriously injured, according to police. The 29-year-old driver of the Chrysler and his 18-year-old passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two other adults in a third vehicle suffered minor injuries and remained at the scene.

Both the 16-year-old teen and the 20-year old passenger have prior criminal records for stealing vehicles.

Ernesto Rodriguez And Francisco Villarreal Sought In Connection With The George Rodriguez And Alondra Gutierrez Murders In Laredo

Two suspects are being sought in connection for the George O. Rodriguez and Alondra A. Gutierrez double homicides in June.

Laredo, Texas - On Friday,  the Laredo Police Department released the identity of a second suspect sought for questioning in a double homicide in June. Police are looking for Ernesto "Neto" Rodriguez, 35, as another person of interest in connection with the murders of George O. Rodriguez, 20, and Alondra A. Gutierrez, 19. Francisco "Frankie" Villarreal is also wanted as a person of interest in the double homicide as well, according to police.

The Laredo police homicide investigators executed a search warrant in late June at a home owned by René Orlando Martínez, the drummer for the popular Tejano/Norteño music group Intocable from Zapata and his wife, Teresa Martínez in connection with the Rodriguez and Gutierrez double homicide, according to police. Both the nude bodies of Rodriguez and Gutierrez were discovered at a vacant lot in the Northside of Laredo in the Lakeside Subdivision and had their heads covered with plastic bags. The bodies were in a state of accelerated decomposition, acording to an affidavit filed by police.

Police say, they found what they believed were blood stains in an upper floor carpet at the home where the stepson of René Orlando was staying. Police haven't confirmed, if the alleged blood stains were from the deceased victims, but did say that a couple of men were replacing the house carpets when a search warrant was executed.

Police reported that Rodriguez was wanted for an alleged shooting of a 22-year-old man in June. Apparently, Rodriguez and his live-in girlfriend along with Francisco "Frankie" Villarreal who is son of Teresa Martínez and the stepson of René Orlando were together when Villarreal got into an altercation with Esteban Yruegas, 22, who was shot in the foot and leg at the 3600 block of Galveston Street. Yruegas was shot by Villarreal due to a drug dealing quota dispute, according to the police affidavit. Yruegas survived and was later connected to a homicide, the Zapata Times reported. Yruegas and Pedro Vasquez, 29, are accused for the July 26 homicide of Cesar Javier Sarmiento, 44, at the 3300 block of Guerrero Street.

Rodriguez, Gutierrez and Villarreal were last seen together on June 13, the day of the shooting incident with Yruegas and were reported missing on June 16. Police also suspect that Rodriguez and Gutierrez were involved in elicit drug dealing with Villarreal. Villarreal, a convicted felon is also wanted for the June 13 shooting of Yruegas and as a person of interest for Rodriguez and Gutierrez murders. The decomposing bodies of the victims were found in a vacant lot on June 26 near by the Martínez home.

In June, Teresa Martinez told police that she helped relocate Villarreal to Houston. Villarreal was released from prison in February after serving a seven-year sentence for felony aggravated robbery. Police confirmed that Villarreal contacted a homicide detective on June 22, but failed to turn himself in for questioning and is wanted in connection for the Yruegas shooting incident and as a person of interest for the Rodriguez and Gutierrez homicides.

Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday, Los Ciegos del Barrio Facebook (FB) page confirmed that the popular group had broken another attendance record at Discovery World in Milwaukee. Los Ciegos del Barrio posted on FB, "As of 2012, we held the all-time attendance record for the 9 year history of this event. Well, we just broke that record by almost 50%. 1750 strong. Thank you, Milwaukee Wisconsin. We will see you next year. We love you!"

Los Ciegos del Barrio or the Blind Boys from the Hood Latin group from New York City performed on Wednesday at the outdoor Rotary Amphitheater of Discovery World, 500 N. Harbor Drive in Milwaukee.

Los Ciegos del Barrio members are visually impaired, but their inability to see doesn't keep them from performing exceptionally well, especially when they play Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbias, Reggaeton, Rock and cross over songs in both Spanish and English. 
Los Ciegos del Barrio are gifted with musical talent and draw crowds where ever they perform.

Former Crystal City Pro-Temp Mayor Rogelio Mata And Councilman Roel Mata Pleaded Guilty To Federal Bribery Charges

Two Crystal City brothers who were former elected officials pleaded guilty to federal bribery including city contracts kickback scheme charges will be facing up to 10-years in a federal prison.

Del Rio, Texas - Two brothers from Crystal City are facing up to 10-years in a federal prison after pleading guilty before U.S. District Judge Alia Moses for federal bribery and a kickback scheme on city contracts while in elected office. Former Crystal City Pro-Temp Mayor Rogelio Mata, 43, and Former Councilman Roel Mata, 44, entered guilty pleas on Thursday, July 28, each defendant is facing 10-years in a federal prison, up to $250,000 in fines, a monetary judgement of $12,291.71 and nearly $1,000 in cash forfeiture, according to United States Attorney Richard Durbin, Jr. from the U.S. Attorney's Office of Western Texas.

According to U.S. Attorney Durbin, Jr. in a press release, by pleading guilty, the defendants admittedly used their official positions since February 2015 to enrich themselves by soliciting and accepting cash bribes from persons seeking to do business in Crystal City.  The defendants also admitted that they voted in 2015 to award a contract to a person who had provided them with cash bribes.
Rogelio Mata and Roel Mata are the second and third defendants to enter guilty pleas in this case.  On May 26, 2016, 38-year-old businessman Ngoc Tri Nguyen pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bribery involving an entity receiving over $10,000 in federal funds.  By pleading guilty, Nguyen admittedly paid $6,000 in bribes in exchange for various official acts from his co-defendants.  Nguyen, who faces up to ten years in federal prison, is scheduled for sentencing at 3:00 p.m. on November 9, 2016, in Del Rio before U.S. Dostrict Judge Alia Moses.

Former City Attorney and City Manager William James Jonas, age 54, former Crystal City Mayor Ricardo Lopez, age 40, and former City Councilman Gilbert Urrabazo, age 45, all remain under indictment charged with one count of conspiracy to commit bribery involving an entity receiving over $10,000 in federal funds.  Jonas also faces three substantive federal programs bribery charges. Lopez and Urrabazo also faces one substantive federal programs bribery charge.  The matter is currently scheduled for Docket Call on October 11, 2016, according to U.S. Attorney Durbin, Jr. news release.

Federal And State Drug Task Force Arrested Suspect For Heroin In Milwaukee's Northside

A suspect with possession of heroin was taken into custody by a drug task force composed by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in Milwaukee's Northside.

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, several videos posted on Facebook (FB) by a Milwaukee woman show an Afro-American male who was taken into custody for heroin possession by a drug task force composed of DEA, U.S. Marshals and local Milwaukee police. The federal bust arrest took place in front of the Brewers Hills Apartments, 2101 N. Dr. Martin L. King Drive.

According to the persons recording the video, the suspect was punched numerous times while being handcuffed and can heard telling multiple arresting agents not to strike him for at least 8 minutes as they had him on the ground. All of the federal agents involved in striking the suspect are White. 

At the end of one video, a DEA agent attempted to confiscate one of the recorded videos, but the person recording the incident ran inside the apartment complex and later send the video to a relative who posted it on FB.

The feds have not released any information about the arrest and how much heroin was confiscated during the arrest.
