Intelligence indicate that El Chapo could be a free man at any time, as the Sinaloa Cartel plans a second daring escape from a Mexican federal maximum prison.

Mexico City - Mexican federal authorities have posted a 24 hour suicide watch on Joaquin Guzmán Loera, 59, of Sinaloa at the Altiplano Mexican federal prison in Almoloya de Juárez in the state of Mexico. Guzmán Loera had indicated that he wanted one of his men to fatally shoot him, if he was about to be captured. But that fail on Saturday morning, when Mexican Marines hot on his trail raided his Miramar hotel room In Mazatlán at 6:40 a.m. without firing a shot and took him into custody.

Guzmán Loera had been wanted by both the U.S. and Mexican authorities after he paid the warden and Puente Grande prison guards millions to escape in 2001. The Sinaloa druglord had been an international fugitive for 13 years. A $5M dollar reward was offered by the U.S. for his capture and $3M dollars from the Mexican government. 

Guzmán Loera to elude capture or detection for years had submitted to several plastic surgeries to change his facial appearance. On Saturday,  his identity was confirmed by Jesús Murillo Karam, the Mexican federal Attorney General.

Guzmán Loera is considered a billionaire druglord and has bought government protection in Mexico. He hasn't reveal any corrupt federal and local officials on his payroll yet, but the longer he stays in prison, a list of corrupt officials is sure to surface. In 2009, Guzmán Loera revealed a list of corrupt officials, it was later published by a Mexican newspaper.

Criminal organized gambling bets have begun to determine when he will be actually free again. As long as Guzmán Loera remains in a Mexican prison, he can control the worldwide operations of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The U.S. government is expected to seek Guzmán Loera's extradition and the Mexican government will most likely turn over Guzmán Loera at any given time. The Mexican government cannot afford another daring escape from El Chapo. The longer they keep him locked up in a Mexican prison, the greater oportunity of him escaping. No federal Mexican prison can hold a billionaire druglord with a track record and an influence to buy prison officials and guards.

Corrupt Mexican federal and local officials can't afford for Guzmán Loera to be extradited to the U.S., because their livelihoods are at stake.

Mexico D.F. (HNNUSA) - El Sábado, Jesús Murillo Karam en una conferencia de prensa confirmo que a las 06:40 de la mañana elementos de la Secretaría de Marina detuvieron a Joaquín Guzmán Loera, 59, aka, "El Chapo" en la ciudad de Mazatlán, junto con un colaborador. 

Agradecemos la espera de ustedes, en razón de que preferimos tener una plena identificación, que los peritos de la Procuraduría ya hicieron al 100 por ciento. Ha sido revisado por los médicos y en un momento más será trasladado al penal que corresponda. 

Esta detención es producto de una operación que fue trabajada durante varios meses en una coordinación plena entre todas las instancias del Gobierno Federal que han concurrido de manera importante para este trabajo y la detención fue impecablemente lograda por los elementos de la Secretaría de Marina. 

Esta operación, en el último mes, tuvo momentos más definitivos para lograr la captura, entre el 13 y el 17 de febrero fueron localizados algunos domicilios en los que acostumbraba a estar y en algunos de ellos, inclusive, lo que dificultó la detención se encontró que estaba conectado por medio de túneles con siete casas, ubicadas no sólo por túneles sino también utilizando el propio drenaje de la ciudad. 

Las puertas de la casa en las que se intervino estaban reforzadas con acero y eso hizo que los minutos que nos tardamos en abrirlas sirvieran para el escape por los túneles, sin embargo la investigación era tan plena, que continuamos. 

Y después de ese día hubo varios momentos en que pudo haber sido aprehendido, pero la prudencia y el sentido común hizo que evitáramos hacer la detención en un lugar en donde pudiera ser afectada la ciudadanía y preferimos no ponerla en riesgo y esperar el momento más adecuado que fue justamente el momento en que se dio con una enorme eficiencia y sin un solo disparo. Los elementos de la Marina lograron la detención, no hubo un solo daño y no hubo ningún perjudicado. 

Esta coordinación que, repito, fue con todas las agencias mexicanas de seguridad, hubo también colaboración de información que se nos dio de los movimientos que en el territorio norteamericano se daban y con una colaboración muy plena también con algunas agencias de los Estados Unidos, fue a plenitud la coordinación lograda. 

Logramos con esta detención uno más de los objetivos prioritarios que nos hemos fijado, es decir, se han realizado 75 detenciones y seguiremos trabajando en todo el país para poder consolidar el esfuerzo, para lograr la seguridad y la paz que los mexicanos. 

Solamente quiero decirles que en razón de este operativo hemos asegurado a 13 personas y se han asegurado 97 armas largas, 36 armas cortas, dos lanzagranadas, un lanza-cohetes, 43 vehículos, de los cuales 19 eran blindados, 16 casas y cuatro ranchos hasta este momento. 

Esto es una muestra clara del esfuerzo que hacemos en el país para lograr el propósito de desarmar los cuerpos de delincuencia que nos afectan.

El Chapo, the Sinaloa druglord was taken into custody in Mexico by Mexican Marines, including U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, ICE and U.S. Marshals Service.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico - On Saturday, Mexican Marines in an operation in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Immigration and  Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Marshals Service were able to arrest the Sinaloa druglord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera, 59, at 6:40 a.m., according to Mexican authorities. Guzmán Loera was taken to Mexico City under heavy military escort. He was a fugitive for 13 years after he escaped from a Mexican prison, Puente Grande in 2001.
Along with Guzmán Loera, 13 others were also taken into custody during the operation. An estimated 94 weapons were confiscated and 43 vehicles.

A tip by a member of Guzmán Loera's security team apparently allowed Mexican Marines and DEA to track his satellite cellphone to the Miramar, a Pacific beach Mazatlán hotel where he was taken into custody as his current wife Emma Coronel, 24, his two 2-year-old daughters and a babysitter were in the bedroom. The druglord had few security and was arrested without firing a shot.
His personal bodyguard Carlos Manuel Hoo Ramirez was taken into custody on the ground floor. Ramirez told Mexican Marines that Guzmán Loera was staying in room 401. When they raided the room, Guzmán Loera was in bed with Coronel. A rifle was next to him, but he didn't attempt to grab it, according to DEA sources. Six people were also taken into custody at the hotel, witnesses staying on the fourth floor told media news outlets.

Guzmán Loera had plastic surgery in his face and has been suffering from a liver problem due to heavy drinking, according to authorities. 

The marines were in an operation for at least five days, before tracking Guzmán Loera to a hotel.

A $5M dollar reward was being offered by the U.S. and $3M by the Mexican government. The U.S. has not commented on Guzmán Loera's capture. The U.S. is expected to seek Guzmán Loera's extradition for drug trafficking, murder, conspiracy and money laundering federal indictments in Chicago, Illinois.
Three Twitter accounts named Alfredo Guzmán, Ivan Guzmán and Gisselle Guzmán apparently admit, they are El Chapo's children who posted, that they are taking it hard and are waiting for instructions on the future of the Sinaloa Cartel. Ivan posted a threat that he would personally take care of the dogs (Mexican Marines) who beat his father during the arrest in Mazatlán.  Gisselle posted, that she is devastated with the arrest of their father.
Guzmán Loera had been married multiple times and has at least 12 children from different marriages.

Coronel was not taken into custody or her babysitter who was also in the room when Mexican Marines broke into the room to take Guzmán Loera into custody. Mexico doesn't charge people or family members for aiding and abetting or hiding a felon as in the U.S..

Caracas, Venezuela - A Venezuelan national march began early on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Despite, President Nicolás Maduro saying, "No permit, No march." But the Venezuelan Republican Constitution allows the people of Venezuela to ignore him.

The Venezuelan Constitution states in Article 350., "The people of Venezuela, loyal to its Republican tradition, struggle for its independence, for peace and liberty, will not recognize any regime, legislation or authority in contrary to the values, principles, democratic guarantees,  or impair human rights."

On Saturday, tens of millions of Venezuelans began gathering for a national march for solidarity and peace after a week long confrontation between demonstrators and security forces that claimed lives.

Venezuelans have had enough of being oppressed and their rights infringed in contrary to their Constitutional inherent rights to express themselves and to demand change. The demonstrations were fuel by the high murder rate of 24,763 in 2013, food shortages, poverty and Maduro's attempt to oppress peaceful demonstrations that turned into clashes between demonstrators and security forces after Maduro's security forces infiltrated marches and indiscriminately began firing at demonstrators. 

Marches had been organized for Saturday around the world in solidarity of Venezuela.

President Nicolás Maduro had revoked CNN's authorization to cover news in Venezuela on Friday, but later decided to allow CNN to continue their news coverage in the country.

Caballeros Templarios Allegedly Killed Over 20 Linda Vista Inhabitants In Guerrero

Authorities in the state of Guerrero in Mexico are investigating the massacre of more than 20 Linda Vista inhabitants, including men, women, elderly and children among the dead.

Linda Vista, Guerrero, Mexico - On Friday, an estimated 50 armed men invaded a rural town of Linda Vista in the municipality of San Miguel Totolapan in the state of Guerrero, according to Leopoldo Soberanis Hernández, President of the Guerrero Alliance of Human Rights. Hernández received a call from a resident of Linda Vista notifying him that armed men had arrived at the town between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and had massacre inhabitants that included men, women, elderly and children.

The death toll could rise to 27, but state authorities haven't confirmed how many fatalities were discovered. One rural road connects the town to other towns in the municipality. 

The town is about 12 hours from Acapulco. Linda Vista has a population of 1,203, with 636 men and 567 women.

Township residents say, that they alerted state authorities about 15 days ago of prior threats to the town by a drug cartel and on Sunday, the inhabitants had planned a general assembly to discuss the formation of a self-defense community security force. Hernández says, that authorities never responded or sent troops to the area and left the township defenseless against attacks by a criminal organization.

The armed commando apparently were identified as members of the Caballeros Templarios (CT),  according to inhabitants.

The CT had warned and threaten to kill inhabitants,  if they intended to form a self-defense group. Mexican authorities have not confirmed,  if the CT was involved in the massacre.

Dead Toll Rising In Venezuela As Military Launches Assault On Demonstrators

President Maduro has launched a major military regime oppression assault in Táchira and other states in Venezuela to restore order.

Táchira, Venezuela - On Friday, more than 3,000 Venezuelan troops have arrived in the state of Táchira, including F-16 jet fighters, tanks and armed helicopters to squash anti-government demonstrations and a freedom resistance. Security forces are also using water cannons to disperse street crowds.

Anti-government groups say, they will continue their demonstrations nationally today and Saturday. Maduro has blamed the U.S. for funding the escalation of demonstrations in Venezuela. 

The dead toll and wounded casualties are rising in multiple states, according to information being posted in social networks. All types of communication is being blocked, Internet service was shut down and any information or photos, including local news reports censored by President Nicolás Maduro. The Venezuela government had revoked CNN's authorized news access. CNN had also been expelled from the country, but Maduro later decided to allow CNN to continue news coverage in Venezuela.

Maduro has ordered all demonstrators arrested and for military forces to use deadly force when necessary against what he is labeling fascists (freedom resistance). But security forces and Cuban mercenaries are just shooting at anyone they suspect is anti-government,  according to postings on the Internet coming out of Venezuela. 

In San Cristóbal, Cuban paramilitary groups have been invading homes and taking out suspected anti-government civilians, according to Twitter postings reporting on Táchira. Internet service has been shut down for over 36 hours in San Cristóbal. 

Maracaibo and others states are reporting oppressive actions by Maduro's military,  but Maduro calls it restoring order (with an iron fist). Some resistance throughout the night led to molotov cocktail throwing by civilians in response to Maduro's oppression. 

A video going viral on the Internet shows Maduro banning demonstrations without a permit according to law, but in contrary it also shows former late President Hugo Chavez responding that over 1,500 peaceful demonstrations had taken place in Venezuela and not one soldier or police officer ever intervened. Chavez says, that Venezuelan people don't need a permit to peacefully demonstrate and to express an opinion. Maduro believes otherwise.

A female student was reported killed at Ferrero Tamayo in Táchira by security forces.

Acaban de matar a una estudiante en la Ferrero Tamayo en Tachira, pocas personas saben, por twitter no nos podemos comunicar, no hay red, ayuda pueblo Tachira esta sin Internet.. pásalo e informa a los demás estados para que alerten a los periodistas y emisoras!En caso que no puedas hacer nada ORA, ORA y ORA por ese pueblo valiente!"

Miguel Torres Rodríguez,  the Venezuelan Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace announced that the bullet that killed Miss Tourism 2013 of Carabobo, Génisis Carmona, 22, a college student model came from within the demonstrators. But, anti-government groups dispute Rodríguez claim and say, Maduro's military infiltrated the peaceful demonstration and began to shoot indiscriminately at the crowds to cause chaos that led to mass panic and reaction from demonstrators.
