A Noise Nuisance Complaint At Zócalo Food Park Reported By Milwaukee Police On Sunday, During Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration 2025

Milwaukee police reported a noise nuisance complaint at Zócalo Food Park during Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on Sunday's scheduled events.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Milwaukee police responded to a call about a noise nuisance complaint at the Zócalo Food Park on Sunday, September 28, 2025 around 5:00 p.m. during an afternoon of Hispanic music and entertainment in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in the Southside of Milwaukee.

According to the public Milwaukee Police Department call log on Sunday, the Milwaukee Police Department District Station 2 responded to a call about a noise nuisance complaint report at the Zócalo Food Park, located at the 600 block of S. 6 Street in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Salsa bands, Cache, Septeto Chambaró, including dancers, drum and dance Bombazo entertainment were scheduled at Zócalo Food Park in Milwaukee.

Update: A video recorded by Elizabeth Renee at 4:53 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 shows the Bembė drum and dance performing, which according to Renee and others in attendance, the sound was not considered a noise nuisance as was reported to the Milwaukee Police Department District Station 2.
