San Antonio, Texas - On February 16, the first Latin Breed Tejano band live concert Vol. 1 album recorded during the three-day Mexican Fiesta (MF) in 2022, will be released on all digital platforms, according to the 10-piece Latin Breed band and their M Group Recording Label music company. The three-day MF festival takes place annually in late August at the Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest grounds) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Live, Vol. 1 from Milwaukee 2022 album will feature most of their live performances at Mexican Fiesta in Milwaukee, which MF has become known as the Midwest Capital of Tejano Music due its vibrant tradition to include an array of Tejano style music venues for the last 50 years in Milwaukee.

When contacted by HNNUSA on Wednesday in Texas, Luis González, the Mexican Fiesta Entertainment Production Coordinator and WHSF Board member in Milwaukee says, that the late Arturo Martinez, 69, who passed away on December 4, 2022 began the ball rolling months before the August Mexican Fiesta in 2022, after Gilbert Velasquez contacted Martinez for the live recording performance of the Latin Breed band at Fiesta. Martinez designated González along with the entertainment committee composed of Fela Salinas, Vanessa Salinas Sánchez, Eileen Figueroa, González including Martinez at the time to help coordinate the live production at Fiesta. González says that he and Albert Velasquez who is associated with the Latin Breed band planned for months and made sure everything that the Latin Breed band needed for the live production was available at Fiesta in 2022 when they performed. González also says, that Martinez and the entertainment committee has kept Tejano music alive at Fiesta and he will continue too as long as he is alive.

The three-day MF music venue at the Summerfest grounds is the largest Latin and Mexican cultural tradition event with a showcase "Taste of Mexico", which also includes Mexican Bandas and Norteño music, Mexican cumbias and Salsa music venues from Puerto Rico. The MF in 2023 reported 110,000 in attendance.

MF attracts more than $22M to the local economy by out of state and non-locals that attend the three-day Fiesta in late August, according to a recently released independent economic study by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA). http://tinyurl.com/437vw8cv

Last year, the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (WHSF), a non-profit organization that sponsors Mexican Fiesta reported in their 990 IRS 2022 tax filing that the three-day MF operation at Summerfest local estimated economic impact was $8,612,721 (according to a 2014 UW-Whitewater study financed by multiple ethnic festivals including MF/WHSF) and that 113,000 attended their festival. IRS 990 tax filing link: https://tinyurl.com/4x6h53mn
