Post-McNab died while in custody of the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office.

Kenosha, Wisconsin - On January 1, 2022, Reighnn Post-McNab, 25, of Kenosha was found unresponsive by a corrections officer at a Pre-Trial holding facility managed by the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office, at 1:04 a.m. an inmate of the Kenosha County Jail was found unresponsive in his jail cell at the downtown Pre-Trial facility. The inmate identified by family members as Post-McNab was discovered by a correctional officer who had been conducting cell checks. CPR was initiated as rescue was called, however, the inmate remained unresponsive.
Jail Medical Staff and the Kenosha Fire Department responded, and the inmate was transported by rescue to Froedtert South - Kenosha campus. At about 2:20 a.m. on January 1, hospital staff advised that the inmate appeared to have died from medical causes.
Family members say that Post-McNab had no medical issues and was healthy. The family also learned that Post-McNab was heard by other inmates arguing with a corrections officer shortly before he was found unresponsive.
Investigators from the Racine County Sheriff's Department responded to the Pre-Trial Facility to conduct the investigation based on an agreement between our two departments. The Racine County Sheriff's Department will be the lead agency in the investigation.
The death does not appear to be suspicious and did not involve any use of force by our correctional staff, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office.
