A female family member reported Ramos missing at the Regner Park Swimming Pond and he was later found on the pond unresponsive.

West Bend, Wisconsin - On Monday, the West Bend Police Department released the name of the 8-year-old drowning victim at the Regner Park Swimming Pond as Isac Rivera Ramos from Milwaukee. Police on Monday released a preliminary press statement that for now, the drowning incident of Ramos "appears to be accidental."
According to the press release, the West Bend Police Department continues to investigate the death of 8-year-old Isac Rivera Ramos. The preliminary autopsy results show the death was consistent with drowning. Based on the investigation at this time, the drowning appears to be accidental.
On Saturday, June 5, 2021 an eight year old Milwaukee resident was attending a birthday party with a family member at the Regner Park Swimming Pond. At approximately 5:00pm, the family member notified a lifeguard that she could not locate the boy. Regner Lifeguards immediately announced the lost child over the public address system, ordered the pond cleared, and began searching the area.
The boy was found unresponsive in the water and brought to shore by a group of citizens. Citizens and lifeguards immediately began CPR.
The first West Bend Police Officers on the scene continued CPR until the West Bend Fire Department arrived.
The boy was transported to Froedtert West Bend Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The matter remains under investigation.
The Regner Park Swimming Pond will remained closed to the public from Sunday, June 6th, to Tuesday, June 8, 2021, the City of West Bend announced.
The Ramos drowning at the pond is the second drowning tragedy reported in five years.
Ramos attended Allen-Field Elementary School in Milwaukee.
