Milwaukee - On Friday, Wesley Poytinger stopped at a local gas station in the 3000 block of W. Lincoln Ave. to gas up for only $2.00 worth of gas. It wasn't a usual vehicle fill it up, but a OCC Chopper Schwinn Stingray trike, as Poytinger described it.
The trike drew interest from people at the station because it has a rear motorized trailer type attacked to the trike. It has a distinct sound much like a lawn mower, but a thicker rumble and can reach of up to 40.2 mph, according to Poytinger.
It took Poytinger about 53 days to custom built the trike and one day for the attacked rear trailer.
The mechanics and technology used to built it is very unique and for the motor to actually push Poytinger along the streets of Milwaukee's south side is astonishing.
Poytinger says, he hasn't had any problems with local police for riding the trike on streets.
