Suspect In Vazquez Jr. Hit and Run Homicide Arrested While Police Seek Damaged Vehicle For Evidence

Vehicle involved in the hit-and-run death of Vazquez Jr. sought by police.

Milwaukee - On Wednesday, Milwaukee police confirmed that a suspect in the May 26, hit-and-run death of Gilbert L. Vazquez Jr., 25, has been arrested and is pending charges. Police are searching in the south side for the vehicle used by the suspect to cause the death of Vazquez Jr. near the 1600 block of W. Mitchell Street.
Police decribed the vehicle as a 1992 Honda Accord 4-door, gold, with license plate number 703-RYW from Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Police Department Source reported, the vehicle could have damage to the front right side fender, including windshield damage and could be parked somewhere in the south side.
Police haven't released any information about the driver, other than they need to locate the vehicle as evidence to charge the suspected driver.
