A Wauwatosa, Wisconsin deer poacher Jason Elliot, 29, of Brookfield was fined $1,540 for the December 13 unlawful hunting of a deer. His crossbow was seized and will not be able to hunt or fish for 1 year, according the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Elliot killed a buck called "Bow Tie" along the Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa, a Milwaukee County Park.
A witness notified the DNR who later tracked Elliot, a martial artist instructor and the owner of Family TKD Champions. He was cited and fined by the DNR for not wearing orange, not tagging deer with proper tag and not having a proper license to hunt.
