Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, Deanthony Demarion Parks, 16, a known car thief from Milwaukee was reported killed after crashing around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of N. Port Washington Road and W. Capitol Drive. Parks was driving a stolen Toyota Camry along with some friends when he struck an Oldsmobile Alero. Parks was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Several of his friends fled from the scene and one female passenger who was pregnant apparently lost her baby. The suspects that fled are being sought, according to police.
The stolen Toyota Camry that Parks was driving struck a home after crashing with the Oldsmobile Alero and landed on its roof. Police say speed was a factor in the crash that ended Parks life.
Parks had previously been convicted as a juvenile for stealing several other vehicles.
Police reported that, a stolen Toyota Camry traveling northbound on N. Port Washington Road struck an Oldsmobile Alero that was traveling westbound on W. Capitol Drive. The collision caused the Toyota Camry to strike a nearby house and come to rest on its roof. Several suspects in the Camry fled on foot and one occupant was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene. No one was in the house at the time of the crash and the driver of the Oldsmobile Alero was not injured, according to police.
Within 18 hours, 13 carjacking suspects have been arrested including 11 juveniles and 2 other minors fatally crashed in stolen vehicles, Milwaukee police reported on Saturday.
