Milwaukee, WI - Milwaukee police reported 629 victims suffered gunshot wounds some fatal and 145 homicides in 2015. First homicide in 2016 occurred on Sunday, January 3 at 11:05 p.m. at the 2400 block of N. 6th St. An unidentified adult Black male was killed, according to police.
In 2014, 86 homicides were reported compared to 105 in 2013 in Milwaukee.
About 7,340 vehicles were reported stolen including carjackings in 2015 compared to nearly 7,000 in 2014. It cost auto theft victims more than $45M in 2015.
