Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, ESPN reported that Milwaukee Brewer Ryan Braun, Yankee star player Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) and 19 others are facing up to 100 games suspension from the Major League Baseball (MLB) after a Florida clinic owner agreed to testify against them. Tony Bosch, 49, operated the Biogenesis of America, an anti-aging clinic, which sold testosterone cream, human growth hormones and other illegal drugs to the MLB players involved in the largest performance-enhancing drug scandal in the MLB history.
Bosch will begin to provide testimony within a week to the MLB about providing performance-enhancing drugs to suspected league players that took them.
The MLB acquired records indicating the players took the steroids, but without Bosch's testimony the records were considered useless. Bosch's is expected to admit that the records are genuine. He had no medical degrees or training to operate his anti-aging Miami clinic.
The MLB commission could then begin to take action and suspend the players in three weeks.
The players are expected to appeal their suspensions.
