Marathon Key, Florida - On Sunday, Tito Rivera from Tallahassee who was out on a fishing trip with two of his Wisconsin brother-in-laws, Wess Eckert and Richard Leavitt reported to Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) an abandon floating raft 20 miles Southeast of Marathon. Rivera said, the makeshift raft was found on Friday, but wasn't reported to the U.S. Coast Guard because it was abandon and they couldn't see or locate anyone near the four person raft made of plywood, 4 innertubes and a blue polyethylene tarp.
Rivera was able to check inside the raft to see, if he could find anything or anyone in it. Only a pair of male tennis shoes were found and a funnel attached to a plastic bag to collect fresh water, according to Rivera.
