Brendan Cronin, Former NYC Cop Sentenced To Nine Years For Attempted Murder

First NYC cop ever to be convicted for an attempted murder.

New York City, NY - a former off duty NYC cop Brendan Cronin, 28, gets 9 years in prison for shooting two men inside a car from behind 14 times in Pelham while drunk. Cronin became the first NYC cop the be convicted after pleading guilty to shooting at both victims, Joseph Felices who was shot six times including in the shoulder, arm, chest and has permanent hand damage, but survived the ordeal and Rob Borrelli, the second victim was not injured in thr April 2014 shooting.
Under a plead agreement, Cronin pleaded guilty to attempted murder, assault and drunk driving.
Both victims have filed a lawsuit against Cronin, the City of NYC and the NYC Police Department.
